A man named John Nasa has taken to Opera News to order the arrest of Pastor Kumuyi, who happens to be the General Overseer of the Deeper Life Bible Church. He had stated that the General Overseer be arrested for holding a crusade which was contrary to the directive of the federal government in line with public gatherings in a bid to control the Coronavirus pandemic also known as COVID-19. He highlighted on the fact that the Lagos State government as well as the Federal Government of Nigeria had placed a ban on religious gatherings which exceed 50 worshippers in attendance. He further stated that despite the ban, Deeper Life Bible Church held a vigil which was tagged ‘Power Night’ in a hall that could accommodate over 30,000 persons inGbagada, Lagos State. He went on to say that the General Overseer, Kumuyi was present at the crusade ground and that he led the sermon afterwards prophesing total recovery to the world.
