Learn to shut up about that which you have little or peripheral knowledge about only

You talk too much
You sound embittered. It is not my fault that you lack capacity to analyse, to digest and to express yourself. Take heart, stay away from sniper and stay indoor to avoid COVID.

NOI is still a candidate for the WTO job.but there will be no block vote from africa.still her global visibility can present better chance than afrian solidarity as all countries of the world are voting.

Nigeria was once in that position but when an elder start misbehaving they tend to loose respect from everyone. Nigeria leaders are misbehaving. compare all 54 countries in Africa you'll discover that Nigeria is better in terms of size of her economy, population etc. but the series of idiots we have as leaders don spoil everything. As China is giant of Asia so Nigeria is giant of Africa but our leaders don spoil am for us
Stop writing rubbish. Our elders no spoil anything. I have read the document and it appears like the AU legal officer is a disgruntled man.

Substitution and nomination are different which the mumu lawyer could not differentiate.

Nigeria substituted it's candidate and the AU procedure is silent on substitution. So, Nigeria exploited the loop hole.

Talkative? Well, I don't talk on Nairaland. I write to express my opinion. Moreover, the constitution guarantees me freedom of expression. So what's your problem?

It is you that is lazy to read to the end. Where did AU get the power to disqualify? AU can only endorse. They can neither nominate nor disqualify

Good enough! Ogah has received his mandate back
Unfortunately ogah will lose with a landslide.

He is just an office man with no star power.

Egypt is not worried about him.

It serves them right, how would withdraw someone who has been working there since 2005 and is well qualified, then out of the blue you bring okonjo iwealla for replacement, it makes no sense. The Frederick Agah was more than qualified. angry
But can't win.

He does not have the star power to draw international support from the west.

Hey man you know nothing about international politiking,Nigeria a nomination long ago.but reading the world picture we quickly changed our nomination.permutations and consultations were made so with NOI Nigeria's chances are better now. This is world stage not just Africa thing. After we will settle AU grivances.
We are saying the same thing.
This goverment reeks of incompetence. Reason why they can't even consult effectively before deciding on a nomination. I'm suprised they did not nominate a dead person this time. Smh angry

akara thinking from the person that made the decision. it shows the person is a neophyte.

Iweala has more weighty internationally than Agah. Thus the reason for the substitution.

What was the reason for the replacement done by Nigeria in the first place?

Perhaps that was what prompted the disqualification of the candidacy.

Egypt been able to convince the AU guys. It is clear that okonjo is the best candidate, and their candidate can't beat okonjo.
But what they should ask themselves is that, will their candidate be able to beat other candidates from other regions?
Buhari should do something, thats why I like OBJ, man na pure diplomat and authority

The best thing to do is still present ngozi, look for support of other African countries, I am sure countries outside Africa will still support njozis nomination, it is not compulsory to go with a consensus candidate.
Ngozi has contacts of all these Liberia and co president too. I am sure
The President of Egypt is head of the AU.

She's the only candidate from Africa that stands any chance of clinching the top post, the rest can only complete the nominal role.

This reaction from AU is expected but it is not totally damaging for Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's candidature. However, intensive diplomatic interactions and clarifications are needed on the part Nigeria to reassure other African countries because we have gone against AU's unity of purpose and key protocol, which Nigeria nominees had benefited from and continues to benefit from.

Let's face it, Ngozi is not any way better qualified than Dr. Fedrick Agah, the former nominee, in the field of international trade. Moreover, there is nothing special about Ngozi that would have made President Buhari to easily and willingly go against AU. The fact is that Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala's candidacy is a product of some developed countries and Nigeria merely succumbed to high level diplomatic pressure or rather, superior argument. It does not guarantee victory for Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala as past elections have shown but it makes sense for Nigeria to offer required nomination platform and support.
this has got something to do with the international devil policing the world. they crucifying one of our own who is breaking their strong hold on African Economy and wanting us to feature another somewhere else to serve their interest.
