Dey already got from TV deals dats y dey didn't want to close the league early coz they would have to pay back a huge chunk to TV rights company, betting companies too .Whether fans bliv it or not,clubs are getting money to fix matches even leagues are closed early were would money come from and they have staffs to pay excluding players o and lastly sponsorship deals.

Same with Bayern/Chelsea

And others.

Whether they play at home or in Portugal, the number of trips that will be made remains unchanged.

I am talking about the remaining second round return legs.

It's alright for UEFA to camp in Lisbon for the quarter finals to the final.


But for the remaining second round games, it is important for the home teams to have their own home advantage.
Other have had theirs before corona.



Lemme break it down using the Barca/Napoli game as example.

1st case scenerio;

Barca travels to Lisbon
Napoli travels to Lisbon
Barca wins and remains in Lisbon while Napoli goes back to Italy

That makes 3 travels between both teams.



2nd case scenerio;

Napoli travels to Barca
Barca wins and Napoli goes back to Italy
Barca travels to Lisbon

That makes 3 travels between both team too.


So it will make no sense if the second round games are not completed on home and away basis.

I do feel Quique is right to some extent but advantage to Napoli @ a neutral ground is just not the point honestly.
The current situation has lead to such being brought forward so as for the season not to go to waste.
Neutral ground would be tough but they just need to play through it hoping to put a smile on their fans face with or without Thier presence.
