If I'm to start up a small scale factory. Which of the two mentioned is preferable to go.

Factors- electricity, market, transport, land, safety, cash flow.

When will you guys stop this nonsense on Nairaland?

You rarely see Oyo vs Ekiti comparison thread, Kano vs Kaduna thread, Benue against Plateau thread....

Are u sure people doing this are actually igbos? Before you know it Anambra people will be abusing Abia people n Imo people will be cursing Ebonyi.

What is wrong with us bikonu? And when I point out things like this some nkita ara will say I am not igbo.

THIS IS GETTING FRUSTRATING. STOP THESE COMPARISONS!!!!!

Though you aptly captured the vision of the thread, you still remain a non-Igbo. You can only fool yourself. Igbos are smart to identify their own just from your thought process.
It's fine to admire Igbos though and even to identify with them as long as you're not working against them, we're cool with you.

I am from Abia but I feel that Anambra is more organised in terms of industrialization, there is an agency called ANSIPPA responsible for supporting businesses and setups manned by intelligent young people including Nigerians from other states engaged from various private sector players to form a team.

If anyone tries to illegally demand for settlement of whatever kind you contact ANSIPPA and they will deal with the individual or group but in Abia there are too many uncouth Agbero who harass investors and too many Police checkpoints slowing down movement of goods for bribes.
Anambra is well organised for business with government support and that's why it's the investors destination after Lagos, Rivers and Ogun (which is like an extension of Lagos)
Electricity is as 'good' as other parts of Nigeria, Land is expensive, as per local transportation, Anambra has the best internal road network in Nigeria.
Multiple taxation is effectively under control by the state government.
Cash flow is good with several financial institutions ready to provide incentives after you setup and want to expand.

Get in touch with ANSIPPA and you will be shocked by the kind of Intelligent response you will receive and information you need about investment in Anambra, it's one of the legacies put in place by Peter Obi as governor that was continued by Obiano.
I hope we could apply same in Abia state but poor leadership has kept Abia behind

I know. One is already showing his frustration above. The comparison is for people who wants to move their company from Lagos to the east. But some people are getting it wrong.

You won't get any much difference. Cities in the east are in close proximity with each other. Once your product is good enough you have Enugu,Ebonyi, Anambra, Delta, Abia even Portharcourt in your palms.

Do you know of Dr.Agness Nwamma tooth powder? It is causing bad market for all the fancy tooth pastes from Lagos and Ogun right now in the east. It is present in every house hold. I think their factory is in Aba or Imo.

Like I said, if your product is fine , the east is yours. You can imagine if your product is the hottest in Main market and other 17 standard markets in Anambra ,Ogbete Enugu, Ariria Aba, Ekeukwu in imo. You are made brother.

I won't tell you much about electricity but other factors you listed are in your favour.

I do not think the op aim is what you just posted. There are a lot of Igbo guys who have never lived in the east courtesy of the choices of their parents. With the current situation in the country so many of them are coming home.

If he want suggestion I believe he can get it here from sound minds. The fools are welcome afterall it is a faceless forum.

Abia and Anambra are good investment destination for people that really want to do business. Investors are welcome.

You can partner with any of the about 500,000 shoes manufacturers in Aba and you are in money. You can provide a factory site and some modern machineries while they come in with expertise and experience. Once you start exporting, Ijebego!

No need for this Question
Both have its own uniqueness and peculiarities.

And you can invest in both of them and have your properties appreciate by over 100 percent in few years to come.
