[Don't compare Nigeria with Hong Kong, Naija police will kill them all. quote author=franchasng post=81978178]Chai Nigerian youths are too docile to demand for change in governance, constitution, reforms, sadly Take a look at Hong Kong. If Nigerian youths could stand as one like they did during xenophobic attacks protests, believe me Nigeria won't remain a mess it is now
|

Perhaps you need to experience life outside of Nigeria before you dub the expenses on emigrating “waste”. You and I know that the chances of surviving and succeeding in Nigeria is low, even with your 3 million start up business, you’re not 5% assured of success. Why? Because the basic support systems of human survival are non-existence here. And when you eventually maneuver to be to be making profit off your business, think of the social hazards and the value of life in Nigeria - ZERO! Again, if you’re a young person with means to leave this country legally, please do. Reminder: Nigeria is currently the world’s poverty capital. By 2050, almost 40% of the world’s poorest people will be here. You can decide to help change the narrative by first saving yourself and then lifting others. Emotionss: 2 Likes |

The best thing that can happen to any Nigerian youth under this "next level" government is to relocate legally to countries with better n quality life style. Naija na jungle and you must be an animal to survive in the jungle and only the predators succeed. 3 Likes |

royalads: If you were abreast with reality on ground, you would realize that it takes a lot of money, time and job exposure to build yourself up to a position where employers are looking for you. The country is unfavourable to young people. That's the bottom line. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Emotionss:You are not getting the point. It is not all about money though money is number one. People want to raise their children in a sane country where their lives are valued and where their properties and investments are secured. Do you know that in Saudi Arabia, you can drive alone in the desert through the night without police presence? Yet there's no armed robber that will harm you. In some countries, you don't have to pay for basic things by yourself, your VAT will take care that. Nigeria is the worst country in the world. You won't understand this if you are not born in an average family. 2 Likes |

Emotionss:My brother, with that 3million naira, u will be gambling if u intend to do business with it here. With that money, no solid business can be sustained with it, or better still, the chances of survival are very thin. U will only get to know when u try it, because several limiting factors are there lining up. |

Raph82: As at the time that statement was made 3 million naira could still work depending on the kind of business one intended to do but as off today 27 November 2020 I honestly can't say for some people but for me, there are many businesses I can successfully run with 3 million naira one of such business is the dry food stuffs business. E.g Rice, beans, garri, yams and many more. I know this because it's one of the businesses I am engage in. Another business one can successfully run with 3 million naira is Forex Trading for does that have the guts. I currently have about 1.8 million in Forex the monthly return is worth the risk. Because in 8 months I recovered my full investment. Another business is the Grade A OK Business. Be it shoe or clothes I know some few guys who started with less the 2 million but are making it big time. With 3 million anyone that knows business will make it in the phone accessories business or even second hand phones. At the end, it's not ONLY about the business capital. It also involve you and the level of sacrifice you're willing to make. The igbos have at about 60-70% successful business management rate than any other tribe in Nigeria one of the reason for this is their willingness to go the extra mile and sacrifice. Spent 5-10 years in Apprenticeship with all mana of insults and embarrassment both from Oga and madam. After settlement most of them sleep in their own shops for many years and other hustling stuffs just to make sure the is successful the end result ? You see a supposedly struggling igbo man with his small Shop and itel phone building mansion in his village. |
