Since the national conference till now state creation has been like the only thing Igbo leaders have been pushing for. While the SS has been pushing for resource control, if it happens it means starving our non oil producing States the needed fund to operate. While in the SW they are pushing for resource Control too, to be able to control their ports. We have absolutely nothing to gain from both |

Do u know that if there was to ever be regionalism or any form of restructuring u can kiss our dream to have a route to the sea goodbye. I have settle down to solve the problem of Anambra port. Its full blown engineering, that will cost billions of dollars, we will do it by MUST, if the north can use Billion's to look for oil In the north we will use billions to fund that engineering project. Another port has to be built, the Niger bridges are a hindrance to the functionality of the ports. The river Niger into many rivers that forms the Delta. We would require full blown damming of a lot of them to make a major river that will head to the sea. Its like a canal system. No Biafran president can ever do this cause that will be another country's territory, but under Nigeria, a President can |

There are things I cannot say here cause this is an open forum, but like I said we should not make the mistake of falling for that restructuring or secession mantra. It will be our biggest undoing. |

Coldie:so in essence you are in support of the present top to down command system we are running? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:28pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:you cant build that onitsha port without the cooperation of ijaws whose tributaries the passage of dredging will pass their lands |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:31pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
asha80:We can. If they can build rigs in ijaw land, then use pipeline to pipe oil to the north is it ordinary river dredging that's a problem? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:34pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
There are things that only Igbo president can solve. Right now with the fact that the present rail line from warri to itakpe in kogi state. Since it goes from warri seaport, as Igbo president our work is to have a rail line moving from that agbor section to Onitsha. Imagine having a rail that moves from warri seaport directly to onitsha. It will change a lot. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:34pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:you are comparing rigs with dredging of tributaries?something you have to be doing constantly for to maintain dept? |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:38pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:no gurauntee an igbo president would do all these you have written unless that igbo person has shown that he really cares or cared about economic issues affecting igbos before now..secondly different individuals should work on developing their regions because it is obvious the country is now broke |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:39pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
asha80:Every seaport in Nigeria they dredge why would ours be different. Reason why ours will be different I said it earlier that we would dam up a lot of those Niger delta rivers to form a super river |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:41pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
asha80:The country is broke we will go and borrow for the project. The country is broke and Buhari wants to borrow 22billiom dollars. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:45pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
The second option for a sea port is at abia state. Under Biafra it can NEVER be possible but under Nigeria it can. At abia state the azumini area at the lowest point in abia at the border between abia rivers and akwa ibom. But it would require we blow up the bridge connecting rivers state to akwa ibom. A Biafran president doesn't have such power, but a Nigerian president can, and then build them another at a location that won't disrupt operations in the ports or a bridge that can allow for ship passage

asha80:Yes I am in support, if only we igbos could know how to play Nigerian politics well. Its in our interest to ally with the north we have a lot of things in common than the other south. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:53pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Yampotatocarrot:To me we need to look for a way to learn about this cattle rearing business from the Fulani's. We also need the north to send there almajiris to Igbo land, if possible let them send almost all of them, we would take good care of them. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 2:56pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:currently who do you think from Igbo who can really pull the strings around politics wise,? It's time PDP gives us the slot..we have been loyal to them for long.. But another thing, it's gonna be a long walk because of many hindering factors like less population and the north...those guys wont let us rule...over their dead body ![]() |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by asha80(m): 2:56pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:we have already done that on 2 occasions and it didnt really end well..funny also that other 2 south regions also feel it is in their interest to ally with the north..well all is just funny |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 2:59pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
asha80:The north as a whole and the south east is landlocked. The north as a whole and the South east are the only 2 regions that its people are travellers. If u leave SS and SW people they won't leave their region. Let us work with this common goal and make things that will be at our benefit dredging of the river Niger is at the benefit of both the north and the south east |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 3:01pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
seankafor:To me I am not sure PDP can rule this country again. Our end game is APC. Nigeria will try to play a fast one on us, they will try to sell Chibuike Amaechi as Igbo presidency. I have seen it all |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Nobody: 3:07pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:lol.. Guy forget.. make develop by ourselves... Make we forget presidency.. E go hard die |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 3:10pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
seankafor:If we can just behave ourselves and lay down the quest for Biafra. And some other plans I have personally drafted that I can't lay down here. It would be easy as ABC. We need to quiet Nnamdi KANU. He is a major problem to it. The guy is very unstable |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 3:11pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Plan I have set in place on Igbo presidency if I share it here. Forget Igbo presidency unless maybe the powers decide to just give us an opportunity to try |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Abagworo(m): 4:38pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:You are a wise man but stop selling your ideas on Nairaland before IPOB people will blow it out of proportion and cause further disaffection with our neighbours. Let's focus on few pics from Imo State. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Chibuzo15: 5:32pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:Please don't share it here, information here that is not safe. You are right though, the north and the east are both landlocked, but the west is offering them a better of offer. Tinubu has aligned with the North already, As a matter of fact the north doesn't need the east anymore, they would soon complete the railway from Lagos to Kano. Some sections have been completed. So I actually believe it's tougher to align with the North, or would I say too ambitious. The best bet is to align with SS. Afterall we have a long history together. If IPOB can stop abusing SW calling them slaves and also stop abusing SS calling them Saboteurs , it would be easier. |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 5:40pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Chibuzo15:The reason through out NY discussion I didn't put any plans involving the SS is their igbophobic nature. Even when the development of the east is mutual they would prefer if kano be developed while the east remain underdeveloped. People who think like that don't have my respect. Me I mind my business every man for himself |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 5:43pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Igbos need to be smart, Nigerians will try to play a fast one on us and said they gave us Igbo presidency, they would present Chibuike Amaechi as Igbo candidate. Its not bad cause thats the closest we can get to the Presidency, considering the fact that Amaechis wife is Igbo from IMO state. Its in our interest as Igbo's there by that time make sure Rocha's okorocha and Orji uzor kalu are in the senate, as we will negotiate for either Senate or depute Senate president seat. While we watch and wait for our next move |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Chibuzo15: 5:45pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Coldie:The annoying aspect is many times it's the Igbo among them that do this, I keep saying it Gowon's creation of state was one of the smartest moves in Nigerian history.. But still I believe they are the best bet, Please why is the port in states like Rivers not used for Cargo ? I still wonder |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Chibuzo15: 5:47pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
How much is even the Sea port sef that more than one state can't come together and finance the creation or upgrading of one.. All this governors no get vision, it's only pay salary and repair roads |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Coldie: 5:47pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Apga as a party doesn't even know its job, I am of the opinion that Apga should form an underground alliance with Ipob. Not for Biafra purpose but for political purpose. Since Nnamdi KANU and his group seems they dont want to stop the struggle and nobody can convince them they should just do we igbos one big favour. Let them stop insulting other tribes, if theres a wrong by any tribe call them out but don't call them demeaning name. Its in our interest for the bigger picture |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 5:48pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
asha80:Mehn, I'm shocked with that I'm seeing. Did you see where he wrote the North send their Almajiris down to the east, infact all of them, that we'll take care of them? Even Northern states are trying to send them back cos of their propensity for violence and someone is saying we accept them all in. Na so European countries take do big brother accept refugees who even Muslim countries didn't accept, and the refugees are now causing trouble for them. Abeg, let's not be too wise in our own conceits |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Yampotatocarrot(m): 6:01pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
seankafor:My brother, I've never gotten the rush for the presidency. We are always working on assumptions. Look at the discussions earlier about Orji Kalu, if he couldn't handle a state well, what's the probability that he'll know what to do when it comes to a country, same applies to Rochas. Which of these guys really brought development when they were state governors? Let's not allow sentiments cloud our reasoning. As you said, WE CAN DEVELOP OURSELVES. It's just like applying for a job, no one will take you serious when you haven't engaged in personal development. But you develop yourself, attend professional courses, get professional certificate, then present your CV, you'll see people will start looking your way. If we haven't done much for ourselves, on what grounds are we selling ourselves to other regions to vote for us? Let's look inwards, states repair federal roads and collect the money back from the Federal Government, why can't the states in the SE come together to do that? What happened to Imo state having an industrial estate the same way Lagos has, or something similar to what Anambra has at Nnewi? Let's make ourselves a beautiful bride that others will want to "marry"... There are landlocked countries and they are doing VERY WELL, not to talk of just states. LET US LOOK INWARD AND DEVELOP OURSELVES... IMO STATE CAN AND WILL BE BETTER IF WE ALL COME TOGETHER TO DO THE RIGHT THING |

Yampotatocarrot:U won't understand but whatever I say is part of a larger and even bolder strategy |
| Re: Few Pics From Imo State by Chibuzo15: 6:02pm On Jun 19, 2020 |
Yampotatocarrot:Sending down almajiri can't even work , which kind alliance be that one .. lol.. they will now be robbers in future |
