Jealousy is a disease

Lack of wisdom is an epidemic. Flyovers are built to prevent traffic congestion and back ups at intersections. Does this place look like it ever had traffic congestion? .... although the main road is narrow? Do they have all weather roads leading into farms?.... or arable lands where people can plant and take their produce to market? This is all about bragging rights.... we have the biggest flyover.... and that is a massive achievement to the narrow minded. I agree 100% with 24SEVEN .

I believe there should be more pressing issues in Akwa Ibom more deserving of funds. Akwa Ibom has enough roads. There are no pressure on your roads and infrastructures generally. The infrastructures in Akwa Ibom are Ok. This new developments seem a waste.


And there are no assurances that Investors will flood in because you built roads and flyovers.

Many lives have been lost on that road by accident caused by the position of the roundabout.Vehicles approaching the roundabout under poor visibility crashes into it or swerves and run into pedestrians on the road.

Construction of the bridge is a step in the right direction as it will limit loss of lives and ease the flow of traffic.

No that is not development. After the creation of the state, many of roads constructed were just single lanes within the capital there after houses and other structures took over the road sides (normal things in Nigeria). As the state developed only option left was to demolished the structures and pay compensations. You can now see that what the governor is doing now will be cheaper in a long run..

Akwaibom ayaya o..very peaceful land .but things are expensive.

I love Akwa Ibom and her people. Service year memories still fresh.
