Thanks for your input, I studied Biochemistry and worked as a detailing rep in a pharma company..I have over 4 years experience in this job.

Any job now to keep body and soul together.

Yes I went for an interview on 28th February 2020. But am yet to be call due to closer of school. Because it was lecturing interview I went for. Am still hoping school should open so that things would go back normal.

my friend has done six interviews and got successful mail but has not been called to resume ever since. the guy is just frustrated now. pls if you have any job to offer him. he study accounting and just round up his NYSC since Feb.

I actually got three jobs with two more offers pending...i am currently running the three jobs...it actually content writing and rewriting for three different firms. In the period of two months I have made almost 100k sitting on my bed and typing...i think I have been blessed sha

I lost my account officer job during this pandemic...I went for an interview three weeks ago but the recruiting firm refused to get back to us....

I have over two years accounting experience, good in preparation of payroll, cash management, tax preparation,and reconciliation.


, Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel,basic knowledge of Accounting software ( sage 50,QuickBooks)

I have accomodation in both island and mainland.


I am open to offers

I was contacted by two different employers for openings they had. One was a recruiter hiring for a client, the other was the employer himself.

They both wanted to fill the roles urgently and were contacting candidates whose CVs they had from way back. The recruiter had my CV from an application of 2018, the other guy had my CV from an application of 2017.

I declined both interviews because the role they were looking to fill, is one I currently do, but I desperately want to move away from, right now. The pay for both jobs was really good too.

The recruiter contacted me the last week of March, before govt announced the lockdown. The other contacted me 12th of June (this month)

Here is what I know, if you believe that jobs are scarce or will be hard to come by, because of the pandemic, what you think/believe will work for you.

If you think or believe otherwise (that work opportunities abound, irrespective of covid) your thoughts/beliefs will work for you as well. It's a thing of the mind.

I have a colleague who constantly gets on my nerves in the office, this person is always moaning about how it will be extremely difficult for anyone to find a job in this season, companies won't be hiring for a long time, blah, blah, blah. The negativity and doomsday prophesies are annoying and I wonder to myself, how can anyone think like this or live like this?

While they are busy proclaiming this bullshit, I am busy looking for new opportunities in this climate and even being contacted, from past job applications of 2 and 3 years ago.
