Yesterday, 21/07/16, I tried the First Bank quick airtime recharge option using my MTN number. I regret it.
I Dialed *894*400# for a N400 recharge and got a reply that the 400 airtime recharge was not successful. As it was really urgent, I tried again, however, I still I got the same reply. Since I needed to make a call so bad, I had to leave my house that night to buy airtime outside. On my way out, I got a notification from First Bank that I've been debited N400 twice(N800). I waited endlessly for a recharge from you guys yesterday and up till today, I still have N0.14 as my mtn account balance.

MTN! Send me the N800 airtime paid for before the end of today, 23/07/2016. If not, kindly refund my money (N800) to my First Bank account.

Relax, first bank's system will automatically reverse the transaction within 24 hours. If it didn't, send them an email through Firstcontact@firstbsnknigeria.com. You will surely be refunded. It happens to me often.

Just contact firstcontact ND u'll get a reversal after a proper investigation is being carried out. Adios.

don't freak out, just lodge the complaint to your bank customer service via email, the debited amount will be refunded to your account.

I use *904 *amount# and so far by so good, there hasn't been any issues.

It's ok. I mailed them and as you said, they replied that their system has been programmed to revert all errors withing 24hrs. It's over 24hrs and I still didn't have d airtime, the money has also still not been reverted to my account.
I wonder why I'll have to go through this stress a transaction so small! GTB and DIAMOND are way more proficient.

Since 24 hours has past, reply that same Mail they sent you, telling them it's 24 hours already. They will manually reverse the transaction. Trust me!

Gtb dat would require you filling forms? I also bank with GTB. First bank has served me well.

it will be reversed, has happened to me before, I even forgot about it cos i sent it to someone after some days I received credit alert.. So be calm or file a complaint to speed up the process
