The People’s Democratic Party, PDP has commences it’s screening exercise for the governor of Edo state and new member, God sin Obaseki.

It will be recalled that Obaseki resigned from the All Progressives Congress, APC over his disqualification from the party’s guber primaries.

POLITICS NIGERIA has photographs of the exercise holding at the PDP Secretariat in Edo.

Obaseki also issued a statement on the exercise on Saturday afternoon via his Facebook page.He wrote;

“I am currently being screened by the PDP (Official Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Nigeria) Screening Committee to participate in the Edo State Primary election scheduled for June 25, 2020.”

In 2016 the same PDP took him to court because of his certificate, now let's see the outcome of the screening maybe he now has a certificate because he is in PDP.
