Tnx, I've read it up, & I see i was wrong, that Am can't be a substitute for I am, it's quite a common blunder lots of folks make.

I was trying to justify my use of Am here on the thread as a sort of abbreviation or short-form. We all use some of these abbreviations & texting here from time to time, so i didn't see it as being wrong.


@ NaijaMemes, i now clearly get what you were trying to say. Don't get me wrong, am no know it all. The way you folks were coming at me, i couldn't really grasp your write up.
Colloquial means informal spoken language, and speaking in an informal way doesn't follow the same path as written words. In Pronouncing the word "I am" hastily, it sounds like Am, so in writing, one can mistake the former for the later.

You have to understand my stance with Bratking, he was right, but I've learnt not to take whatever he says seriously, cause you never know when he's trolling or not. Had the initial correction come from another person, I'd have gladly thanked him(you never can tell were the correction would be helpful to me tomorrow) & accepted my mistake, that's me.

To all my lectures, am very much thankful, & everyone else on the thread, am sorry for derailing. Have a nice day guys.

Lolz.... Don't be puzzled my good man, it's not a deliberate act. The abbreviated version is already imbedded in my consciousness, it's something i intend working on.

Borders between spectacular and generic, intriguing and underwhelming at the same time. Some aspects of it were done well, the casting was perfect and there was good chemistry between the leads, the story starts to falter during the end, it got rushed and made use of cheap misdirections.

My main gripe was with Ares, the guy is supposed to be the God of War! If you are going to introduce such a powerful villain that late in the story, you better make him leave a lasting impression.

No man's land scene 10/10 this scene was wholesome, deserving of a case study, nothing short of wonder and awe. Now I rest my case.

Land Of Mine(2015)..8/10

If you think the Hurt Locker was tensed, then prepare, cause this movie would leave you in a high state of anxious apprehension. The flick was so suspensefully, i was on pins & needles the whole time.

It was basically a Danish historical biopics, which tells the story of German POWs forcefully sent to clear land mines in Denmark after WWII.

Writing was perfect & devoid of all forms of sentiments. Directing was excellent, this is one director that clearly know his onions/craft.
The Hyper realistic cinematography amplifies the tension & suspense in the story, the photography portraying the exquisite scenery of the Danish lush was a beauty to behold.
Soundtracks were catchy, am not Danish but it stuck to me.
Acting was stellar all round, the protagonist of the story really killed his role.

But for the language, which made me rely heavily on the subs, thus distracting my attention most times, it would have gotten a perfect 10.
