The chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Anselm Ojezua has declared the ongoing Party primaries as 'illegal'.

This was contained in a letter written by Ojezua to the state Commissioner of Police on Monday morning. In the letter, Ojezua also claimed that the primaries were being organized by some 'dissident' elements adding that it was 'unauthorized, provocative and illegal'.

Well said by the legitimate chairman of APC in Edo state. Let them keep acting their scripted uninteresting drama. At the end of the day, justice and the courts Hama will still slam on the irrelevance of all these stupid shenanigans. At this rate, APC may not even have a candidate in the Edo gov. Election mark these words.

.it bleeds my heart when I see full grown men loose integrity because of money or selfish interests. obviously the primary of a state election is not in the power of a state chairman,so how come do u declare an election illegal when u know it is The NWC that is responsible for state primary elections

If the governor can offer pdp N6b for it's ticket, how much do you think he has offered Ansalem to possibly scuttle and make obaseki the sole candidate on any platform he is standing on, at least he doesn't have the power to decide if the primary is illegal it's not within his purview, let him go to court o jare - nonsense walking on it's head everywhere
