Hunger does not differentiate between Yoruba, Hausa or Igbo. Hunger does not know Christian or Muslim all they hunger yearns for is food. Over the years our Politicians who are supposed to lead by example have sowed seed of discord over the masses and while the masses keep fighting themselves over religious and ethnic lines, they keep looting all our common wealth collectively. Today the Children of these so called Politicians are fronting our common wealth before our own eyes. Today mark the end Ethnic and religious bashing here, today Nigeria Youth have decided that we just face our common enemy which is our Politicians. We must take back the Country. Gowon did not rule as an Elder, he was a Youth, Obasanjo was in his 30s when he first became the head of State, What of Ojukwu, TY Danjuma they were all in their Youthful age when they took over leadership positions. Why is our own case different, why have our voices suddenly gone down. Why are we now behaving like an ostrich tied inside a cage that will never have freedom. We can never be one in Nigeria, let's not deceive ourselves, disintegration of Nigeria is the best,a certain tribe are lazy and envious, they monopolize seaport and airport and you want us to be united, let's all fight for our separate country |

The problem with Nigeria isn't the leaders but the people, i.e their mentality. A typical example is the poster above me. ![]() |

dulux07:in clear terms, what does a better Nigeria mean to you and how can we achieve it? |

Noneroone:A better Nigeria is a Nigeria free from its present mentality and greed. An average Nigerian is egoistic and greedy, not different from the politicians, hence we keep changing leaders but same results, even the young leaders, the desmond elliot, shina peller, yaya bello....what impact have they made. Military rule, seems like a good way to tackle the issues in Nigeria. It has the power to instill discipline and strict judgement for perpetrators, hence resetting the people's reasoning. As bad as they claim abacha was, none of this democratic leaders have achieved what he achieved in terms of economy growth and security. It will be extremely difficult for any democratic leader to move Nigeria forward, since majority of people around him are perpetrators, they will definitely frustrate his efforts. A good example is the present administration. But we stand a chance if the people can fight and vote for sound leaders outside the popular political parties. |

dulux07:But all developed countries also have "greedy" and "egoistic" people, why isn't Nigeria developing like them? |
Re: The End Of Division Of Nigeria Youth Along Ethnic And Religious Line by dulux07(m): 7:03pm On Jun 22, 2020 |
Noneroone:Yes no doubt, but what percentage of people exhibit such and what rules are laid down to manage such is what counts. Here, these xracters are seen as a norm. In a developed country, most of our leaders would be in prison. Greediness gives birth to corruption, countries with high level of corruption are among the poorest and under developed in the world. |
