Op. The inconsistency of your myopic write up is simply overwhelming. First Illorin was lost Fulani via a treacherous manipulation of Afonja using violent military strategy. For you and Tinubu who profess 'democracy ' how do you plan a political strategy based on Igbo suppression, extortion, and exclusion in Lagos; a desperate city in need of both investment and citizen participation from all. This is not about Igbo vs Yoruba, it's about disloyal Igbos in Lagos who don't buy into Tinubu's godfatherism vs the Tinubu criminal empire. Even as we speak, Tinubu's daily paid internet farm is churning out anti-Igbo propaganda making it appear as if there is a tribal war between Igbos and Yorubas. |

Bulleye:Weak diversion and confusion of issues with introduction of ipob into the discussion. Igbo is not Ipod, Ipod is not Igbo, and your internet farm knows that! |

I can't just stop laughing at what you just wrote. Oil companies , Automobile or Cement manufacturing Companies unlike Public Corporation are all private companies and have the same liberty to set up their estates or offices anywhere. The Government can NOT dictate to companies how and where they should set up their offices. Suppose a 'Law' is promulgated that all oil companies should set up their head offices not more than 1 Kilometer away from their area of operation, what will now open to Chevron that have their oil rigs off shore, 60km away from the nearest Village on Nigerian soil? What will happen if the company have oil fields in 5 States? What if an oil company move from Ondo State to another State following discovery of oil there, say Anambra State or Borno State? What if a company just rent a 3 bedroom flat in Yenegoa and designate it 'Head Office' to fulfill all righteousness but the bulk of their Staff are coordinated from a 20 floor skyscraper in Awka, Anambra? This Bros is funny die! Is Shell Office ONLY in Owerri? Shell is at liberty to open offices in ANY State. Please qoute the sections of the Constitution and Oil &Gas Act that mention where a private company should site their offices? Dikebuka: |

Bulleye:How? the last time I checked igbos have not engaged yorubas in any kind of squabble . compared to the hausas who have fought you on your land at sagamu,Ife,mile 12 etc. Your oba threatened igbos in 2015 and igbos were prevented from voting in the last election in some parts of Lagos and here you are talking about co-existenc. |

oyatz:When Shell explored oil the first time in the eastern region then, the place they sighted all their facilities was in Owerri which was incidentally one of the first place they explore for oil..it would interest you to know that iho which was one of the earliest areas oil and gas exploration was in imo state..they did not discover oil in commercial quantity then. Shell some years back sold off there assets in Warri to marginal company and those companies sight their bases in lagos. These kind of thing can only happen in Nigeria. Shell has office in lagos, but the bulk of there asset which house the residential and industrial layout is in Port Harcourt. Same as Total and Exxon Mobil, and the servicing giants Halliburton and Schlumberger I have asked you questions that relates with the oil and gas acts and the constitution. which you certainly don't. If those assets where under the control of the state, do you think most of these oil and gas firms will have their bases far away from state or region where their assets are. Why do you think NPDC was sighted in Benin Edo state, If not for the fact that most of her assets are within Edo/Delta axis, though some assets are in imo Let me explain few part of the oil and gas acts, cause I not legal studies though these relates to me.. It empowers the federal govt to give lease such as oil prospecting and mining lease to company of interest, it empowers the same government to give determine the nature of business whether joint venture or production service contract. it automatic makes the government the owner any oil and gas discovered in your backyard. |

oyatz:The field I made reference to Oil and Gas which is under the extractive industry. Chevron is a private company but when you are into extractive, you don't sight your office and residential area outside you field of study.. Its only the hopeless Nigeria constitution that is empowering all this.. You know how many operators of marginal field are in lagos when their OML location are far away from their operational basis..even the export of the crudes are done via Lagos. A lot of indirect development, that is suppose to have come to d states through local contents, investment, housing and technology is concentrated in a particular place because of bad government policy. |

oyatz:Oil is not exported in lagos.. That was a typographical error from my own end. How can someone that studied petroleum engineering and had been to the field be ignorant of what he is saying... I should be the one asking you how Innoson and Bua system of business relate to Chevron.... How many oil and gas firms are in lagos when their field of operations are in Bayelsa, Akwa ibom, Imo, Edo and even Delta state.. Even majority of BUA's workforce is at Okpella in Edo. |

Bulleye:Your hatred will definitely find you out. Your likes will never succeed in creating disunity between the Igbos and their Yoruba brothers, which is your main aim. Igbos are never killers like the Fulanis. Many Igbos inter-married with Yorubas unlike the fulanis. Igbos only buy lands from their Yoruba brothers who are willing to sell to them; not by forceful acquisition as the Fulanis. Many Yorubas also have choice properties in Eastern Nigeria and Igboland unlike the Fulanis. IPOB is a genuine Eastern Regional Association and does not bear arms, like your revered Fulani Terrorists groups. Igbos [vis a vis, Easterners] have never threatened anyone over his property, like your Fulanis do, and even kill. IPOB has never killed, and would never kill anyone but uses civil disobedience as a tool to push for their demands from this divisive Federal govt. YOUR HATRED ON A PEOPLE THAT HAVE CONTRIBUTED IMMENSELY TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF THIS COUNTRY, WILL DEFINITELY FIND YOU OUT by God's grace, Amen. |

You can site your office ANYWHERE you deem fit sir. They have not broken ANY law sir. If you think they do, please qoute the section of the law that is breached sir. It is not compulsory that your office and Factory,Mine or Shop should be close. It doesn't matter whether you are mining coal, exploring for oil, refining crude oil or manufacturing Textiles. I have told you earlier on that most of Chevron businesses in Nigeria is offshore (deep into the sea, off the continental shelf) and not on the soil of any State. They paid their company (Oil and Gas) tax to the FG and not any State Government as some are erroneously insinuating. Personal income tax of workers (whether workers of oil companies or Farmers) are expected to be paid to the States where they live. However most Nigerians don't pay personal income tax unless it's deducted directly from source. Dikebuka: |

oyatz:My brother I get what you are saying, that was why I blamed the constitution and (oil and gas acts)). We all know the economic benefit that oil and gas indirectly to the society in terms of transportation, business, food, housing etc. What am saying in a simple terms is that in a sane society where state government control dia resources, companies and firms can't operating in dz manner.. |

Yoruba are not coward, at least not this generation...Maybe those during the time of Afonja were.... The reality is Yoruba handle problems different from Biafrans and from those of Arewa...... The manner may make them seem unmotivated for change or revolution, or as cowards, or BACKSTABBERS, but they are who they are and look first and foremost unto the “GAIN” in WHATEVER they are doing even among themselves..... So, they should simply get out of the way for agitation for African nations that want to remerge and no one should try to force them to do A or B.... |

AdaoraNK:And Igbo will go down in the history of Nigeria as the ethnic nationality whose son, Nnamdi Kanu is the father of hate speech. Meanwhile Igbo alleges they are hated all over Nigeria while their son, Nnamdi Kanu has polluted the whole of social media and internet with hate speech. What hypocrites! And they are the ones that spread out throughout Nigeria the most. Notwithstanding this, the Igbo are still the most divisive. |

Hmn, I understand your concerns but certain problems can't be solved by means of legislation. The Headquarters of Chevron is in California (It actually Started as Standard Oil of California) but most of their operations are now in Texas, Alaska, Wyoming, Colorado. Dikebuka: |
