Using just this face shield is not as effective as it looks. There are gaps on top and around the edges that droplets when someone else sneezes can still be carried by the wind into your mouth and nostril.

You need to watch more cos have seen lot of that used in the advance countries like China and some part of North America on TvSet. You won't see it by watching local news you know. Could you please mention one of the international news that you watch.

That is face shield and not face mask.
Secondly, must Nigeria use or follow what other country are doing or using. We need to be ingenious in this country in other to progress.

this is a face shield - u r supposed to wear it and still wear face mask.

the shield is expected to shield your face from spittle when conversing with people at close range while at the same time wearing ur face mask.

it is to be used by those in direct contact with people - like bankers, security operatives, etc.

but here we always abuse everything - here you see people wearing only the face shield when common sense is expected to make u realize it doesn't work that way.

The way the face shield is being used in Nigeria offers no form of protection, air molecules can still move underneath the shield easily.
It wasn't created to be used alone, it has to be used with a normal face mask or its useless

At all. this one is not effective. once in the air, the virus can get in from under the mask and other open space.

It's can only protect the eyes from letting virus in but I believe one can still get it through the nostrils.
