He will end up useless to both 2 parties. His best strategy is to have gone to a 3rd force and test his popularity in the last 4 years. Or remain in APC and silently negotiate an ambassadorial appointment.

You people are the ones destroying this country not Buhari. How in your right senses can you consider a man your party claimed forged his certificates and therefore not qualified to be governor now be good for ambassadorial post?! It seems APC members lacks the basic morals of any decent society.

No doubt, that would be the best recourse for Edo people. However, previous elections in Nigeria have shown that the expectation that a third force will win Edo State gubernatorial election is at best a dream.

I know that this kind of game will play out. You cannot just move from your party and come to another persons party to claim ownership after all the pain they have gone through in maintaining the party.
He should have gone to another party if he trust his popularity and if he believe he has done enough work in Edo state which will make the people to vote him into office again.

This may still happen in ondo if care is not taken

The people who ushered him into PDP never believed in sowing before reaping, they have not been able to nuture any party to success.
They believe others should build and hand over to them, unfortunately those who build will protect their structure with the last drop of blood in them.

Wike still hurts from the presidential primaries, where he supported Tambuwal but Atiku still got the ticket. The man wants to pocket the party. His man Uche Secondus became the chairman after he pushed his name forward doesn’t mean he must get everything he wants. Someone must have tried maligning his name, but Wike should have investigated instead of going all out blasting. He shouldn’t destroy what the party has been building towards 2023. With all this going on another party might just capture Edo state leaving APC & PDP losers.
