There is really no course that that is not lucrative ... they just have different market size and entry requirements.
I will say Sport Science is also big here but because you will mostly be dealing the native Germans, it will be like a MUST for you to PERFECT your German proficiency ... even if you are to focus on the Marketing and Business aspects.

If you take football (one sport) for instance, German professional football league starts from league 4 and depending on your city, the amateur levels can go as far as League 10. So that is enough opportunities for you volunteer, intern and work but might be hard if your German proficiency is not good.

DE also have the likes of Adidas, Puma , Jako etc. sport wear companies in case you chose not to focus on the contact/physical part.
sir is computer science the same with software engineering?

Go to Cologne. The better city the better for you. Forget fancy names you can learn anything in IT on your own. Meanwhile what are you proficient in right now?

Thanks a lot for your response. I know just basic programming in python and some data analytics skills ....And concerning your choice of Cologne, is it because it is a big city with more job opportunities? I know about two people who read courses not too marketable in big cities that are still jobless after graduating.. My problem is not just about student jobs during studies but a more marketable job, practical experience and career after graduating

If you finish the nursing in English.. Is it English language you would use to talk to your sick German patients or you would only attend to English speaking patients...... This is why they don't offer medical courses in English... But I heard there is mother way to get in first before you start learning the language in Germany...

Nice skill. But if you want my advice, learn devopps alongside cus we are already in an era of process and automation. Infrastructure as a code is the thing right now. It's all about scripting these days.
Yes the big cities will expose you alot to valuable people and latest trends. I'm speaking for the IT guys tho. I passed thru ur kind of dilemma and I'm very glad I made a switch very early.

No, it's not. Software engineering is a branch of computer science though. When you study computer science, you also learn software engineering but you can study software engineering nowadays as a single course.

I have no idea about the first question.

I know a lil bit about phD though, since you are in Nigeria it will really be hard getting a post-doc job in Germany that is, if you already have your PhD.

If you intend to do your PhD in Germany, I would definitely advise you to do your masters in Germany and then proceed to PhD, if you already have your masters, it will be hard getting into a PhD program but it's easier if you do your masters in Germany.

Also, getting a post-doctoral job isn't as hard as getting a job after PhD. Some people do post-doctoral jobs for few or many years before getting an actual job after PhD.

Architecture is definitely STEM. If you got incredible skill, the market is so rich right here. Homeboy of mine is doing wonders in Frankfurt. Permit me to ask, do u have a PhD?

Hello guys,

I'm currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering and in my final year. I'm looking to apply for Masters in Germany once I graduate next year.

The issue is that I'm now interested in Business Intelligence, Business Analytics or Information Systems, and most of the courses I've found on DAAD require Bachelor's in Business or Computer Science or related field.
Can Elect/Elect be seen as a related course? One of the schools I emailed said they can't say until they've seen the content of my application.

I NEED ADVICE GUYS.

Don't apply directly to all thoes business informatics courses, it is the 50/50 chance that they will accept your engineering degree with no experience in analytics

Apply to courses that combine engineering and IT....courses in like Msc Digital Engineering OVG Magdeburg, Msc Computational Engineering FAU Erlangen, MEng Technology and Innovation Management HS Harz, Msc High Integrity Systems Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences

All these universities have options that will give you the opportunity um major in Data Analytics, Data Science, Machine Learning, Information Systems which ape mostly interrelated.. The most important thing is that your maths is tight and you are already working on your programming skills

Check out these points. Some people might not agree with all the points but that's my own controversial view about Deutschland.

1. If you are not the studious type, avoid any of the TU9 Universities.
RWTH Aachen
Tu Berlin
Tu Braunschweig
Tu Darmstadt
Tu Dresden
Leibniz University Hannover
KIT
TU Munich
University of Stuttgart
Also avoid the Universities in Bavaria like LMU etc.
Choose all these schools only and only if you are seriously passionate about education and ready to pass through rigorous academic processes to graduate.

2. If you are not very Sound in Mathematics, avoid any Engineering courses and Information Technology courses especially in Universität. Getting admission is one thing, graduating with a reasonable grade is another. It's easier to study those courses in university of Applied sciences which are more practically oriented and less head aching calculations.

3. Be ready to go for weeks if not months without sex. Because most white girls prefer white boys and most black girls prefer those that already have papers.
Most students masturbate to relieve themselves of sexual urge and focus more on their studies and ofcus nobody will agree they do.

4. Be ready to read instructions, be punctual and follow rules otherwise you will always be a victim of circumstances. No need to type more on this, you will understand better when you come.

5. Be ready to accept NO RESPONSE. In Nigeria, we all see it as an insult when people don't respond our messages. In Deutschland, don't expect all your messages to get a response. Here, no message is a message.

6. Be ready to cook. Unless you are from a very wealthy family, eating out will surely be expensive and you won't be able to eat what you want.

7. Be ready to live a quite lifestyle. If you are the noisy type that always shout like hyenas, Deutschland is not for you. You either learn how to shut your mouth or appear odd to others.

8. Be ready to do things the right way or face the consequences of your mistakes. In Nigeria we are used to ABEG, ABEG when we do things wrong.
Here in Deutschland, it does not work. They are emotionless and don't understand what I am sorry means.
Once a German tells you, I AM SORRY, THERE IS NOTHING I CAN DO. My brother, save your stress and face the consequences. It's not racism, it's their lifestyle to be blunt and direct without emotions.

I totally agree with your point, in as much as I understand that study generally in Germany is very tedious, studying in one the technical university here is far more tedious especially if hustle full your mind, you need 100% concentration to succeed in any of those universities. I'm studying at TU München and I know how it is.
