To do best of my knowledge,jurist(grand lord) aka Amici originated from Edo state,akoko Edo (igarra to be precise) they are very brutal but rarely gets into issues with other frats,one thing I dread about them is that you hardly know their members,they don't roll in groups,they don't dress to impress,they don't intimidate or oppress others,they just blend into the society like normal ordinary people.you hardly know them except you are close to or related to one of them.
These guys had issue with elebe some years back at igarra and caught one elebe,tied him upside down,set fire with wood under his head and were playing cards and drinking their thing. Very brutal and silent guys.

Maybe not. Remember, contributors were advised to modify some facts for strategic purposes.

The truth is, we do not need 100 percent accurate OTs. What do we need it for? At least, we are not going to be saying or practicing those things. Only those who want to impersonate may be after perfectly accurate info on OTs.

We just need info that will demystify the cults and open our eyes to their presence around us and among our loved ones. The info also helps those attracted by the OTs that there is no big deal in it.

I think the writing exposes are generally ok.

I thought i was the only one that found that story unbelievable. I was a student pastor. I lived in a compound with so many different cult groups off-campus. It was predominantly Vikings in there though. Bike men would refuse to drop you off in front of the compound because they would be robbed and sometimes their bike seized. Gunshots in front of the compound every night to create "awareness". There was a day Sars and the school security surrounded the compound and the CSO said everyone in the compound was a cultist. It was that bad. But in that compound I knew everyone of them, I had spoken to everyone of them about Christ. I would wake up 5am every morning and start praying in tongues in my room.5am to 6am. Some complained stylishly but nobody came boldly to ask me anything. I had all their names pasted on my wall. I would call their names one by one and commit them into God's hands. Some died but one particularly notorious became a pastor in one African country. In fact, I still liked the pictures of him and his wife on Facebook today. They liked to smoke weed in the compound. They NEVER smoked at my balcony. I've heard them tell people that come from outside to NOT sit in front of my balcony or smoke. I was very tiny. Right now I'm only 5 ft 5 and I weigh less than 60kg so I was very diminutive. This was 2004-2006. I remember they'd have those their parties where they only turn on one bulb at the entrance and everywhere else would be in darkness. I know how many times girls from the parties would come and knock my door and ask to sleep in my room overnight. In fact one girl that eventually married one Nigerian footballer was among them. That was how I met her. Once or twice some of the boys would come and knock and ask if the girls are in my room, I'd tell them they're sleeping already and they'd leave. I counselled a lot of them. There was this one I told the story earlier...the one that was having shaking violently as I led him to Christ...he was axe but would always come to that Viking dominated compound to see me. They let him be even when they where having issues because he was coming to see me. I remember the ONLY time I got assaulted. It was a Thursday evening and I was coming back from prayers with three other girls that where in the prayers. We walked past this notorious bar about 500m from my off-campus apartment. Some two guys from the bar carried me from the road. Lifted me up and took me to a corner in the bar and started slapping me and going through my pockets. One took out my phone and was walking away with it. Then I heard a shout, one of their ranking members I guess shouted they should stop and came towards us. He said "ah pastor, did they take anything from you?"...I told him "that other guy has my phone" he collected it back and asked if anything else..."I checked and said they took N250"...he said please leave it for them. I said ok. Funny thing about this was that I didn't recognize the ranking guy that was helping me. I didn't see him again after that day but I never got harassed again. Do you know how many people came to our student fellowship then to confess they've been forcefully initiated and needed help. In fact a lot of members when they want to be reformed would come to us. We where respected and we had clout. I stayed in that compound from year 1 to final year. There are a million experiences I had. The light shines on in darkness and the darkness can NEVER overcome it. We where not timid Christians. We worked the word. So for someone to come here and say they forcefully initiated a born again Christian who came to preach is and would always be Mischevious and highly Unlikely. Confraternities identify themselves through various means one of which is colour codes(of dressing) backed up by their individual OT. The first cult, Pyrates Confraternity, introduced a mode of dressing they emulated from the real sea pirates which is; antique white shirt on a pair of black trousers combine with a sash worn around the waist, socks drawn up to knee level and a bandana tied around the head (which portrays the cult's primary colour). Other springing cults followed suit.

With the introduction of more cults, and as a result of the fashion trend, but most importantly, the need to portray a false civilised appearance to the society, this mode of dressing evolved to the conventional formal(cooperate) style, regularly worn during the cult's ceremonial events, and which is modern white shirt, a pair of black trousers, socks drawn up to the knee or ankle level, a tie, a waistcoat, black suit jacket and the beret which replaced the bandana to portray cults paramilitary code of conduct.

The primary(and secondary) colour(s) of a particular cult is indicated by the beret, the tie, and the socks, with the complete colour codes of that cult displayed by the beret and its ribbon underneath.
Hence some of the major cults' colour identities are the conventional cooperate white shirt and a pair of black trousers combined with:

Cults also 'fly' their colours through caps, foot wear, hand bands and casual wear of their corresponding colour and female cults also adopt same colour codes(of dressing) used by their particular male counterparts. Some cults number 1 man and their national body might be adorned with extra distinguishing colour to stand out from the crowd.

Though this is just to mention a few so you are aware of the kind of colour combinations of clothes and accessories to adorn yourself with in certain locations to avoid mistaken identities or harassment from the self-acclaimed owners(or rivals) of such identity. Though e no mean say you no go do your fine boy with your Christmas cloth again but apply wisdom because the colours were there even before Wole Soyinka was born.
