Run away from Life sciences, Nigeria is not developed enough for those courses. Courses like biochemistry, microbiology. And others like Physiology, Anatomy and so. They are wash

Ps: please I'm in need of a job.

Just finished NYSC, I have a B.Tech in biochemistry. I'm 24 years old, smart and tech savy. Computer skills, HSE1,2&3, Excel, PowerPoint, baby programmer (Python), Adobe Pr, Adobe Ae. All in the my bag

Also good with analytical tasks and some experience as a project manager.

Kindly link me up with opportunities. I'm looking for any challenging opportunity to learn and grow while contributing my best.

Thank you, God bless.

I will say don't run away from those courses if you are very passionate and very good at what you do except if you think you will never make it abroad. There are plethora of opportunities out there waiting for just you!

Don't beg anybody before they misunderstand you. I have friends that studied biologically related courses. (I don't mean medicine and nursing o.)

They are still roaming the streets for over 15 years post tertiary period listening to government's call for job mobilization so apply.

Plenty courses.Ran away from any course that cannot put food on your table after your education in Nigeria E.g Zoology,CRS,Fine art,History, insurance, political science, sociology, theatre art and plenty more. But if you are connected in Nigeria you can study IRS and be an Accountant in NNPC.

I wouldn't categorize any course as less important, what you study dosen't matter. You could study Electrical Engineering and find find yourself working at the bank.the most important part is to secure your degree with a good grade, As simple as that

As it is almost time for jamb to give admission this year, the portal for change of institution and course is still open for those who wish to have a change in their course.

Well let me put it this way, this thread is for you to comment the course you think is a bad idea for anyone to study.

Consider job opportunities and the future, will the course still be relevant in 20,10 years time.

Mine - Zoology (especially if you want to base in NIGERIA) just change it before its too late. You can change to ANY OTHER AGRIC COURSE

Before thinking of the course you wanna study, I'll advice you find your purpose first

oga accept it. U are grossly ignorant. I am a poultry farmer. I really wish I had more knowledge. Probably if I had trained as one, I would be more knowledgeable. One of my kids would definitely study veterinary medicine

The question should be what course can you advice a jambite to study, because there aren't many, stay away from engineering, it is useless in Nigeria, useful courses

1. Medicine
2. Pharmacy
3. Building
4. Agricultural science
5. Banking

We all plan for high course but along the line things change.
I plan to be a Pharmacist right from primary/secondary school days.
I wrote jamb 2-3times, I got no admission. Lastly, I wrote and jamb transfered me to a course I dreamt nothing about.
I can't reject cos I've stay long at time. May God guide me
