You did not know the changes that will be made or the dynamics of the game. It is just pure luck. You said you judged from the starting line up. Simple. Talking about game dynamics was nowhere in the discussion. You are not in Lampard's mind or [color=#000099]know the direction the game will go.

I don't have to be in his mind ( bold)

I just have to know the team selection including the subs and the different attributes of the players he has.

Then l look at the team sheet of Man city and we know the players thier attributes, the team strategy and the general ethos of the manager.

From a position of knowledge you can make an informed decision and projection about team strategy. Add to that each managers general approach to football. From their you can make your

It's just like when city played Wolves Adama Traore played RB in the first-half and totally cancelled the threat of Raheem. Second half he moved forward and scored two goals.

It's not rocket science it's quite simplistic really.

Then i can predict not absolutely it is still football but in general, "the direction the game will go"

Eéeeeeee be like say this Liverpool win deh pain and the way Chelsea beat city.

Sorry kpele

The main error was Mendy misplacing the pass to Pulisic. That disrupted the balance.
That wasn't the main error to me. They could still recovered from that by simply increasing pace, and most importantly, blocking the path of Pulisic to goal.

Not blocking the path is the maaaaaaaain errror to me. If they blocked that path, trust me, twill be easier to dispossess him.

Poor thinking
Absolutely more poor recovery.

i never said he outplayed City I only said I like his approach to game one of which is the deep defensive line we had

And as for the KDB goal I wasn't expecting to do better that's why I said we have to avoid conceding set pieces
Barkley and Mount were just odd picks to me. They underperformed. Im wondering how they arent getting the stick. Oh cos its a win, and the league's been won. That overshadowed focus on their bismal dismal performance.

TheSuperNerd:
In addition to these two teenage Midfield prospects in the post below, here is another fine teen midfield prospect. He made his Bundesliga debut on June 20 for Bayern Munich vs Freiburg and I kinda missed it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_16LBm2Olw
A clip on the lad.

His name is Jamal Musiala. An attacking midfield talent born to a Nigerian father and German Mother.
'Started out with TSV Lehnerz before transferring to Southampton Youth in England in 2010. He is now with Bayern Munich U-19 and made his Bundesliga debut spotting jersey #42 vs Freiburg.

'Has featured for Germany at U-16 level and England at U-15, U-16 and U-17 level. All are friendlies so he is not captied to any nation.

Eligible for Germany, England and Nigeria.

Another teen midfield talent to keep an eye on.

We can still get him before he plays competitively for any of those eurooean teams, remember he trained with our 2017 U17 squad, before he was ordered back by his club Chelsea, then

Hard work, and sound inhouse dicision indeed,

sound inhouse dicision, that had your coach spending close to 200 milliom dollars, ( if i Dont know better, i did said 300million dollars) just to build his defence abi?

TheGoodJoe:

Lately we have not been exorbitant. The problem is market inflation. I think we just bought Cancelo last season. It is a myth people have about City. Lot of our success is down to hard work and sound inhouse decisions.

No p.

I disagree Mount had a very good game but some e of his decision making was very suspect and selfish.

Barkley lost steam for me even before the half ended. He is only 26 he has not upgraded his game. It was a case of diminishing returns after 30 minutes.

I was looking forward to seeing Loftus - Cheek replacing him. But it didn't happen although the subs in the second half all were strategic.

Bringing in a rampant Tega when City would have run out of steam and got complacent defending against a very very zero pace Giroud. Was key to the win, as he changed the game dynamics.

for starters, your prediction came true!! Bravo.

2ndly, i didnt slight Ramos. Just stated that he works and practices fk taking, and as such, our defenders dont do just that to come out good.

We need setpiece kings from these CBs, RBs, LBs. Its a good plus on any portfolio.

Not to talk of Midfield

To be honest a lot of our players give the impression it's all about money. Once they get that first big contract, they don't seem to strive to improve.

They just do enough to remain relevant.

Balogun to Wigan in a permanent deal!

Playing in the Championship will keep him sharp will he be able to move upwards, let's see.

His time at Brighton left him very rusty IMO.

it's no myth, city have the most expensive squad in England, but it's fine tho because if you want to be successful you need to invest
