With this a legacy may have been made, who knows, future president made held family meeting there, who are the advisers doing all this, why are politicians miss using our democracy?
The situation demand it because of coronavirus. ASO rock is Mr. President office and house so he can hold political, family, religion or any other meetings there.

Comments like this only lend credence to the fact that Nigeria is indeed not ripe for democracy.

You don't see anything wrong with the president (of all Nigerians) holding a political party meeting at the FEC meeting chambers?
What's the business of Nigerians with the internal affairs of the APC that warrants the use of a public building for their meeting?
Perhaps the PDP, AAC, APGA, KOWA et al should also book the same location for their subsequent meetings.

...and to crown their ignominy, the comic opera even featured a supposed Attorney-General and Nigeria's Minister of Justice administering Oath of Office to a party chieftain! cheesy grin

It's almost certain they also channeled public resources into funding that show-of-shame.

These charlatans in power keep plunging us to new lows and setting terrible precedents with each passing day.
It's unfortunate.
In fact u have really spoken what is in mind. Kudos

APC has destroyed Nigeria. Trump cannot hold Republican party meeting in the White House. Its a show of disrespect for the nation who owns the FEC meeting chambers. Democracy is dead in Nigeria under APC.

By referring to the APC constitution about 7 and 14 days notices it is clear that PDP does not want APC to have a candidate in Edo.

Hehehehe

People's Democratic (PDP) has criticized President Buhari for using the Federal Executive Council (FEC) Chambers to conduct the affairs of his party, the All Progressives Congress (APC).

A press statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Kola Ologbondiyan reads:

It looks too petty

PDP should say the truth.

It's not the venue of the meeting that is paining them, why they are angry is that APC found a solution to their crisis.

They were hoping that the Rivers and Zamfara situation would repeat in Edo.

And who told you Apc have resolved their crisis

I gave up hope on the sanity of many Nigerians long ago, that a man can not see anything wrong with what went on in that hollowed chamber is in its very self mystifying.
I may very well be requiring to use that chamber as venue for my next function, after all, I'm a tax paying Nigerian.

An AGF that should be neutral is now the one administering oath of office to a party event, doesn't this mean that he is an APC member? Tell me why political cases won't go in favor of the ruling party

Truth be told it was wrong for the APC to hold it's NEC meeting at the FEC Chambers, they should have used their Party Secretariat or rented a hall in an Hotel.
PMB and his Political Adviser got it wrong here, the nation is waiting for an apology from the Government and APC

A rabid lagosian thinking APC has won the election in Edo..

Edo has never voted on party lines. You can check form history.

In the last election, they voted massively for APC for the governor's seat and PDP for the president's seat.

If you look further, PDP has the better federal seat allocated in the Senate and HOR.

IZE IYAMU will never be governor. He is like Obgoru of Delta State and Atiku of Nigeira.
That Ogboru guy is cursed. You will never hear his any day until 2 weeks to election. After losing at the polls he will disappear for almost 4yrs and only reappear 2weeks to another elections again.

PDP no get sense at all and they will always be a loser with this attitude. They ought to factor in the fact that there is a pandemic right now which might be the reason why they were forced to use the executive chamber in order to minimize contact rather than use their normal party office...
l think the lack of sense seems to come from someone who doesn't know executive chambers is never for political parties' meetings. How about APGA and other 98 political parties' requesting for the same venue because of the pandemic?! I hope you wouldn't shout corruption fighting back.
