You should’ve called that pocohantas chicken and prawn pepper soup so people won’t be confused.

There were lots of spices there. Uda, ehuru/efuru, ginger, garlic, chilli...you need to specify the chilli type, a handful of habanero can change the taste of your food...

Btw who mixes prawn with chicken? You would’ve messed up the chicken taste. I think our chefs should write some recipe books and specify all these foods.

Chicken pepper soup is different from beef or lamb pepper soup.

Probably a green leave that is responsible for that taste, don’t know the name though! Ginger and garlic just for seasoning, no where they can get you that taste!

Does this your method of making peppersoup apply to goat meat peppersoup as well?

My own be say any egg i fry no dey swell up again...

You don’t have to use them. The most important thing to me is ehuru and other local spices.

The green leaf is nchanwu. I never said the ginger and garlic is what gets the taste. I think anyone knows to put scent leaf in a pepper soup, but not everyone knows to put EHURU. EHURU makes the difference, not scent leaf.

The picture is there, shows the type of pepper. Dry prawn is just like crayfish- there is totally nothing strange about them in a cooking. Let alone ordinary pepper soup. 3 dry prawn can not mess up the taste of a kilo of chicken na.
