Arrewa:Yes o, same bullet the militants received and they were able to blow up pipelines, Lol. You see Nigeria security are corrupt, we can even pay one to blow it up for us...or no, we will do it ourselves. after all we know the land better than any security agencies and the military can't be everywhere. Me and you knows that it is quite easy for the militants to blow the Pipeline if they need We can blow it up in River State or in Imo state whenever we find out we are being shortchange and it doesn't benefits us. |

Arrewa:Apart from Kano and to an extent Kaduna I don't see any state in the north that can rival the east, no offence. I'm from South south but I know that the East is more developed than many many states I. the north apart from Kano but their living standards is higher than everything all the northern states combined can rival. beat that. |

Golan007:It's a white elephant project, fool. Abokis are only after the kickbacks as usual. They are laying gas pipe to a barren economy where they have no industries that would use the gas. Even if they built gas powered gencos up north their people are too poor to buy the electricity and the national grid is too weak to share it down south where people have capacity to pay. |

This project is entirely beyond Nigeria! I think it is designed to entirely break the Russian gas monopoly which Russia uses as leverage to European nations in any diplomatic warfare! Europeans (and to some extent, the USA) have been trying to go around Russia and thereby softening her diplomatic strength. The actual idea is to lay the pipe to Morocco and then eventually to Spain. If this is true, I pray Russia doesn't find out and empower fifth columnists in the country to divide Nigeria!!! |

ifiokjohn:Your opinion though which you are entitled to...not really the fact. Nobody is jubilating here but when we see some difference, we point it out. It's about objectivity, not sentimentality. I don't belong to any party, not voted in any election since 2011, don't know Tinubu or any of his lieutenants neither have I benefited anything from them, but we commend when necessary & accuse when the need arises. That's what you should do to your leaders on the other side (from governors to assembly members to NDDC) - hold them accountable for once and see how things will turn around. Like I said before, a large proportion of the monies meant for your development has been diverted into the coffers of your leaders - hold them accountable for that. Buhari & co should not be held responsible for the diversion of your funds by your brothers! |

Veqtor:Good decision by you. NDDC is under a forensic audit now... let's hope they get the facts out so that stolen monies can be recovered, the bad eggs kicked out and the Niger Delta can be developed henceforth. That's my desire for the Niger Delta...my mother comes from there, so I am very concerned about the development of the Niger Delta. |

Melkizedeck:It's sad that a lot of people are ignorant of this fact. If this pipeline is completed and can be extended through the Sahara up to Algeria, then Nigerian gas will finally get to the European market. The benefits of this are immense: 1. This pipeline can easily add over $5bn of additional forex revenue to Nigeria annually 2. It is also capable of ending (or at least significantly reducing) gas flaring and its attendant environmental impact in the delta. 3. It will also place Nigeria on a very enviable economic and political position as an alternative gas source to Europe thereby breaking Russian monoply. If anyone should even be against this project, it should be the Russians. But unsurprisingly, it's Nigerians out of pure ignorance and some silly north vs south prejudices that are against the project. A lot of people just have no clue on the potential economic impact of this pipeline. |

does kano and Kaduna produce gas? did the govt know the cost of maintaining a 200km long pipe? Useless project, off course they won't even complete it. |

obailala:Ev devoid of the usual trumphalist sentiments of people like Arewwa, the project is a good one and it will help sort the problem of gas flaring . The problem most people have in the south east is that some Nigerians seem to derive some fetish pleasure in knowing that the south east is obviously being marginalised, hence their gloating over projects like this. The desire of every true Nigerian is to ensure that all parts of the country is developed ....and not to mock those you are discriminating against. |

Tonight, about 8000 units of Ether will be distributed evenly amongst 240 people after an Ethereum Heist is performed. It may sound unbelievable but it's possible. We did it before, and we will do it again. To partake in the Heist, book your spot by joining the group before it gets filled up. All you have to do is join and stick to the rules of the Heist. https:///Kb52bPq6JMsB6KugBTbS5h |
