He's actually right. Muslims in Edo can mainly only be found in two local governments out of the 18 lgs in the state mainly Etsako East and Etsako Central. If Ize Iyamu wins, it will be because they rigged in his favour. helinues: 1 Like |

If Edo people allow this nonsense to stand then they should watch and see how Muslims will start claiming the largest in Edo state like they are doing in south west. Edo people should not allow Yoruba people to deceive them that nothing is wrong with it because everything is wrong with it. 9 Likes |

The most religious intolerant set of beings the world knows are these pigs called the Nigerian christians. Just look at this irrational state of mind, hatred and prejudice tone this illiterate OP is speaking towards the Muslims. The last time I check you fools are advocating everywhere that your lame religion teaches you to be peaceful with everyone regardless of religion everywhere they are. Where is that teaching now? Scums! 7 Likes 1 Share |

Edo State is not nearly as bigoted as the South East. Moreover,it's possible the guy is a Christain. Anyways, don't blame him... perhaps, the people there are finding it quite off to keep fielding only xtians in political positions from that particular region in Edo State despite it having a large Muslim presence. 1 Like |

In this period of time what matter to a future Nigeria president (leader of tomorrow as they want us to believed) is why party is choosing Muslim running mate? His cerebral grey matter not programmed to assess the candidate credibility, candidate capacity, candidate manifestos, candidate background, candidate past achievement etc but what it's matter most to future leader is religion of candidate running mate as if running mates have any tangible contributions in Nigeria setting 2 Likes |

TheGodlessGod: If you claim you are from Edo and familiar with Edo, you will know this your 10% is wrong. Etsako West, East & Central are mainly Muslims. This is already 16% of the 18LGAs. Most part of Owan East mainly Warrake, Ihievbie, Ihbviaro and others are Muslims. Part of Akoko Edo and around Ikpeshie are Muslims. You would also find them scattered in other Christian communities. So, your 10% is so incorrect. Edo has always lived as one community as religion is never a consideration in making decisions. So, drop this stereotype that you have. Oshomole also had to battle with this kind of mindset in his first term when people like you said he was from a minority tribe and that the votes usually come from Edo Central and South hence he didn't have a chance. If a candidate with a credible credential whether Christian or Muslim, Minority or Majority, is able to sell his manifesto, Edo people will vote for him. 9 Likes |

matex97: Tinubu rather. Tinubu is a Muslim. Once Muslims get a lofty position in any state or federal government, they gain recognition, relevance and propel themselves to an even higher position, attributing more authorities to Muslims in the state even if they are in the minority. They will even build more mosques and people will covert to Muslim in order to gain political relevance or political position. That is how it started in all South West states, except Ekiti that has very strong Christian institutions. 1 Like |
