Obaseki might even win the election but, the opposition will approach the Court of Appeal which will set aside this High Court decision, and Ize Iyamu will be declared winner, as the runner-up. The Supreme Court would be approached by both parties and Ize Iyamu will be ratified as the winner.

If you know, you know! Obaseki as a PDP candidate is a liability for the party.

I don’t know how many of these commentators reason. Any intelligent person will know this is a tactical withdrawal because events have overtaken the reason for the court action. Obaseki is now in PDP, why fight him now, when Ize Iyamu is now leading APC. The proper court action will be resuscitated if Obaseki wins the governorship election. That’s when everyone will be in court. And I wonder how Obaseki will win that case.

You think that if Obaseki stood his party Chairman with federal might over sharing Edo's money, you think any low lifer from PDP will dare him.
He may share money now because of election, but in PDP nobody be anybody godfather now.
