Thank you Ikenna, you have shown that there are lot of honest and hardworking Nigerians abroad. Also you have proven that there are still honest and God fearing Igbo men out there considering the fact that you were raised in Onitsha one of the most dangerous Town in the country.

Stringent laws against illegal immigrants? Yes. Against legal immigrants from settling permanently? Not true. There are Nigerians and other immigrants who have PRs in Japan while some are citizens. Then again, it cannot be a planned exercise certainly not with an ethnic Japanese (according to the article). What he did is quite common in the country (https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2017-03-14/this-may-be-the-world-s-most-honest-city).

I only joking suggested it might be planned and bro right from time Japan have not been an immigrant country it was not until some years back they started accepting skilled immigrants read this article below till the end thanks and also we don't know his motive for returning the wallet just as I said in my comment he might have done it to add to his good deeds in Japan which is a good one from an immigrant which may further ease the processing of his PR in japan.

Facts from Africa:

A Nigerian (hush puppy), a criminal with the wrong focus, nevertheless, he stole from up to a million, not one died.

They went through bad emotional trumas, that might have killed them inside. No excuses here. I will talk about him another day.

Then, you have black south Africans, lazy and low life mindset. Always hide behind the white SAs glory in finances, economy(Nigeria is still bigger in its worst time), infrastructure and logistics, etc They still hate on these white SAs and steal their businesses and homes.

When these lazy and jealous minds meet you (African like them) at their choosing, it is heaven or hell for you, from there. They were on that evil mindset until they understood Africans(especially nigerians) are no joke in mistreating evil.

Then they have the audacity to use white SAs technology that they bullied to use, to label all other Africans as scams, drug peddlers, etc to everybody in the world, with their stolen economic status.

All these countries including Japan, with Africans and even African countries with foreigners, don't do what the black SAs do in lynching foreigners especially Africans. We wouldn't tolerate it with any place and shouldn't tolerate it with the black SAs.

@subject, good job. I would have taken my 10 percent.

Going by the bold, I agree considering its effect for PR or citizenship. Japan might not be an immigrant country from your perspective but from Vietnamese, Thai, Indonesians, SKoreans and Chinese, it is an immigrant land. Yet again, it might be because of the non-English lingua franca or distance or the long period (until it was changed) to gain PR (ten uninterrupted years of residence).

I would say; He noticed the trap set by the university body and didn't fall for it just to keep his reputation for a bigger and more tangible crime. An Anambra brought up go see wallet with huge amount of foreign currencies return am? Na the cameras wey full the university premises for still fish am out later which he knew and avoided it and built up a trust into the Japanese data base. I'm not Ibo but I love Anambras in particular, very smart and intelligent with big bolded foresight. Thumbs up bro and respect. You've gone too far to tarnish your religious and academic image with coins. Naija go need you later when all the rotating old bad eggs killing the country don die for your use. Keep safe and quarantined wink cheesy
