There are no meaningful buildings in Asaba. Warri should be made Capital.
A City is made capital because of meaniful building right? You lack leadership.

Why don't you do this, and compare this place with a finer and well structured city or town? Asaba indigenes would come online to tout how remarkable and beautiful the place is, when actually it is not. The roads are tarred, but poorly tarred, there are hospitals but it's not equipped with staff or healthcare equipment.

Folks too, would come here and present edited images of their school, making the management and the government very comfortable... When actually, the school, its library, toilets, classes 'is' an eyesore. Why not compare your current state to what is obtainable in saner climes? Asaba will be great or comparable when you use your camera to highlight the defect, and let us shame those in charge, the commissioners and all...calling them out... but you don't know your representatives, not to mention your commissioners. We have a long way to go, really. Do a video, that will help attract investors to your state, bringing employment and infrastructural development, do a video, that shows our needs. Folks die in government hospitals due to power outage and very insignificant reasons... use your video to highlight this, and this platform to call em out. You are not alone.
Truth hurts. But you said it. Ignore dogmatic comment of users with stockholm syndrome

With their oil, I'm not impressed.

Yes, it's finer than my state but that's because the major source of income in my state has been abandoned for "oyel".

Again, not impressed.

All this posting of pics does nothing but inflate your fragile egos.

These guys only highlight a few areas with some newer buildings and all you docile ignoramus lose your mind.

The fact is compared to South Africa not even mention US or the west. All Nigerian cities are at best average in many parts they are slums.

No 24/7 light, no sewage, open gutters filled with trash that flood, uncanitary conditions everywhere, no good schools, no good recreation, no running water, no good hospitals.

I regret to inform you that no Nigerian city is up to world standard, cry if you must it doesn't change anything.

Build all the houses that you want, they are still slums.

The fact that there isn't any modern infrastructure that works in any Nigerian city is laughable..

No tourists are filling out the vacation schedule and putting Lagos or Abuja on the list, heaven forbid...

They go to Cairo, Cape Town, Johannesburg heck even Nairobi.

Even if you put lipstick on a pig, it's still a pig.

Asaba is leaving the City cliché and fast joining the Mega City geng, this is a welcome development.

Talking about welcome developments, do you know you can do a lot with GTBank USSD code *737# your convenience, you can; Open an account, pay for your DStv subscription, purchase data and airtime, pay NEPA bills, make cardless withdrawals, apply for loan, transfer cash and lots more, all on your mobile phone.

Don't be left out.

That's the two major tarred road in the whole of Asaba. Lovely city with good weather but high cost of living without good worth of your money, bad roads, poor telecommunication network, erratic electricity and no night life

I hope Okowa eradicate all those bad spots.
