This guy fight is archaic in approach. he should be fighting for their place in Nigeria Economically, Socially and Educationally.
This should be the core thing at the front of his mind"the Igbo people" not seeking name for himself or sympathy toward self.
The Niger delta fought for their place and was heard. They had their 13%derivation & presidency.

The cattle market and settlement at Umuchieze which Kanu mistook for Lokpanta has exisyed for more than a decade. When the cattle markets at Enugu, Okigwe and Umuahia were closed down Umuchieze was established as the new central Cattle market for the East.

But saying a street or an area is this people or that people, is border line tribalism.

The laws against tribalism and discrimination, need to be done and seriously implemented fast. Many leaders in Nigeria are just hardcore ewus, a lot of simple thoughtful move are complex to them. They are stuck on ego and oppression mindset.
