Of course i won't complain, but I will also not call it a penalty when it's not.My argument is if its a penalty or not which it clearly isn't.

I response to ur 1st paragraph, I tot the introduction of var was meant to put an end to calls of this nature

Did the Barca players ask the referee to consult VAR ?

Fee ‘shouldn’t be a problem’ as Liverpool compete for €80m forward

Liverpool are set to compete with Napoli for the signing of Lille forward Victor Osimhen, according to reports in France.

Osimhen has attracted interest throughout Europe after scoring 18 goals in 38 appearances during his breakthrough season in France.

The 21-year-old sat joint-fourth in the Ligue Un goalscoring charts, level with Neymar, before the season was curtailed due to the global pandemic.

Osimhen had impressed enough to be named as a ‘priority’ target for Man Utd this summer, while Inter Milan are among the continental clubs keeping a watchful eye on developments.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham have all also been linked with a reported £75m bid received for the Nigeria international in recent months.

There have been rumours in France recently that Napoli have tabled a €80m (£72.2m) offer for Osimhen but people close to the Serie A side reckon it’s much nearer €40m.

And nowL’Equipe (via Sport Witness) claims that Jurgen Klopp is ‘very interested’ in signing Osimhen although the report doesn’t say that Liverpool have made a bid yet.

The French publication adds that the fee for the Nigeria international ‘shouldn’t be a problem’ for Liverpool despite Klopp saying yesterday that he cannot spend “millions and millions” on squad reinforcements.

https://www.football365.com/news/liverpool-victor-osimhen-lille-e80m-bid-napoli

Lille are using French media to hike the price of Osimhen, this same French media reported that he did not take permission before travelling to Italy.

They did the exact same thing with Pepe and Arsenal fell for it. Liverpool never bid for the player, but L'equippe claimed 80M had been accepted.

Victor Osimhen’s representative has confirmed that the Lille forward is ‘very impressed’ by what Napoli have to offer.

Osimhen has been in Naples since yesterday, when he met coach Gennaro Gattuso at the club’s base in Castel Volturno, amidst talk of a €70m deal being in the pipeline.

Osita Okolo, who is also the Nigerian’s brother-in-law, admits the trip is going so well that they are meeting President Aurelio De Laurentiis today.

“Yesterday, when he arrived in Naples, he headed straight to his first meeting with the club,” Okolo told Radio Punto Nuovo.

“On the way, he watched people walking around the city streets and confessed to me that he was positively impressed.

“Then he met the coach, Gattuso: they talked about the Napoli project and he was also very impressed on that occasion.

“Today he’ll meet the President, Aurelio De Laurentiis. He was impressed by Naples and its people, even though the tour around the city was short.

“However, everything went in the right direction. Now, all we need to do is make a decision about the lad’s future.

“I’m not sure what Napoli’s fans think of him, but I knew that everyone who crossed paths with him was very happy to see him in the city.

“I thought that was very nice of the Neapolitan people. I’m convinced the fans would also really like Victor’s style of play and that could impact positively on his final decision.”

Mikel to Benevento?

Remy, Glik, Schurrle Iturbe, but not only. Benevento continues the search for big names on the market in view of the next championship of A. To the Giallorossi - reports Sky Sport - in this sense it was also proposed John Obi Mikel, the former Chelsea who last March terminated the contract that he tied to Trabzonspor for fear that the Turkish federation would want to continue the championship despite the spread of the epidemic. oshimeh's greatest mistake will be to ignore Napoli for Liverpool. Liverpool system n style of play does not suit an out and out striker which Osimhen is. Napoli to me is the best choice among d two

EPL launches scheme for ethnic minority coaches
July 1, 2020

The Premier League, PFA and EFL have launched a new scheme aimed at increasing the number of Black, Asian and minority ethnic (BAME) players transitioning into full-time coaching roles in the professional game.

U.K Football chiefs say the new scheme will initially produce at least six coaches per season.

The lack of representation of Black people in senior leadership roles in football has been the spotlight because of the increased focus on the Black Lives Matter movement.

At the moment, only six of the 91 Premier league and EFL managers or head coaches are from a black, Asian and minority ethnic background.

But the new scheme which is jointly funded by the Premier League and the professional Football Association, PFA is aimed helping more blacks become full-time coaches.

Just look at yourself doing exactly what you're accusing me of. Dude rated the Scottish league lower than League1 and not the championship like you are claiming.

Misrepresenting facts just to be in Komekn's good books must be quite a profitable venture, doesn't it?

You should look at yourself.

I said that the Scottish league in general is on par with league one or even lower.

Where do the vast majority of transfers to the Scottish Premier league come from ❓ League one.

What's the budget of the majority of the club's in comparison to league one clubs. What can they afford to pay players, etc, etc.

These are the pertinent questions thar determine quality of the league. Not if they play in Europe.
