So a friend transfered some funds to me days back twice due to network.. To be sincere d devil whispered in my ears to keep it and not transfer back but then common sense prevailed. I simply transfered it back cos I wouldn't actually gain anything by keeping it but would probably lose his trust and friendship.

As for bank, if na Fcmb or uba do that kinda mistake, I swear I won't return. Those banks are thieves!

He should forgive her and marry her. She loves and trusts him so much for her to make him her next of kin

And l guess you will take it cool when you mistakenly credit a wrong account with a huge sum. Since you don't value integrity, the money can go with the wind, who cares? Hmm?

How much are we talking about here.... Pay excess money enter my account and be waiting for integrity...integrity bawo... Because she is a woman... She even used the mofo as her next of kin... I need to marry that babe. Hypocrites everywhere!

until its "your" money that is sent by mistakes to a stranger's account, and then you will be singing a different tune and crying like a lil girl to get your hard earned money back. wrong is wrong however desperate and hungry a person may be!

she's not a fraudster please. That one is a different issue entirely. She was just tempted and made a mistake. Almost everyone will fall for that kind of temptation. Especially from banks that charge their customers indiscriminately

You say she is 'hardened' because she moved the funds... I like to use the word 'smart' .... See, all these is because she is a woman... I like the last part of your comment. The money may have intimidated the husband to be and made him insecurecheesy typical of nigerian men who like to sit on top of their woman... Forgetting that the babe will support the wedding expenses directly or indirectly from those funds and even beyond...infact she should be dumping that man ASAP...he doesn't want her progress and not worth being her husband.

Nope, she is hardened because her husband to be had to cajole her before she confessed.

I don't think it is about men/women either. I am sure the lady would feel same way if the guy did the same thing.

These are two people who are supposedly getting married. I am expecting that the girl would have told the guy about the 'blessing' before the bank reached out to him.

For the fact that the mistake was done, she was notified by the bank to return it, dmshe declined despite that she moved the money to another account makes me feel she has nothing to protect not even her name

Even the guy called her she denied before accepting it

I doubt her sincerity

My worry too.

it isn't the bank management that gets to pay but the staff member that made the error. You see an innocent person would suffer fr it.

Hm.... I suggest that your friend have a rethink truly... Because a woman who isn't morally upright wouldn't instill good values in their children when they start having kids. BTW, she can go any length to evade crimes she committed, even if she has to put the blames on someone else.

I got permission to write about this here incase you think xyz and my friend is a Nairalander!

The lady wants marriage and would show her true self afterwards.

The bank just exposed her in time.

Integrity is a Priceless Character!
Very Important in Marriage..
Lack of it could lead to endless woes and pains!

Having said that, Marriage is a life time commitment.. pls if you are not Divinely led to a spouse, pls do not enter..

Marriage is like a Journey, you don't know what it holds..
But if you are guided and led by the Alpha and Omega, the one who knows all, then what he gives to you will definitely be a joy..

Those banks are also robbing us, they hardly return the illegal charges on our account.
If you think you can have an angel as a wife, then try and watch your own life and see if you have no fault.

So you would marry such a deciteful woman because banks are robbing us...

Ok now....good luck in your marriage life.

Wow! This is serious shocked

Even though it is so hard to advise him to let go, I'll still advise he does on the premise that she could implicate him with a more serious fraudulent act in future and that would.be his end.

Why would a lady do such? Some ladies got heart though. Playing a smart one on a financial body is damn too risky a game especially in this era of hushpuppy and mompha saga. Okeydokey...

Op, advise your friend to free her. I dislike fraudulent ladies. Haba!

It's really not the bank's business who you choose to use as your next of kin

The answer is yes, it's possible to use someone you're not married to

A friend is calling off his wedding plans because he thinks his girlfriend lacks integrity. They have known for about 3years and he has not complained about her to me or any one.

Problem started when he got a call from the bank pleading with him to tell his girlfriend to reverse/return the excess amount credited to her account when she visited the bank to make a deposit into her account. He called his account officer to investigate the issue. The account officer confirmed that she got excess of what she wanted to deposit and she has moved all the funds to another bank.

She used the guy as her next of kin that was how they could contact him. He called his babe who denied initially but reluctantly agreed when he divulged that the bank contacted him. Dude became angry and paused all wedding plans.

The lady s begging and has cried her eyes out...what do you think? can you compromise integrity...?

I got permission to write about this here incase you think xyz and my friend is a Nairalander!
At least tell us the amount involved First, it gives a clearer picture, then we an discuss.

See these ones!

They are the kind that will marry such women and then ten years later will open thread for Nairaland under new name with the title 'If I had known!'

You want to marry a woman who is capable of stealing someone else's money because everyone is a hypocrite?

Well, most of us know that what she did was wrong. And if saying what she did was wrong qualifies me to be called a hypocrite, so be it!

But then, it's none of my business. Happy married life, y'all. And when the thieveing ladies you have married have drained you of your very life force, do open a thread on Nairaland , so that we can have fun mocking thee! grin
