I remember the day a igbese beach,though the jackets were provided but using ithe the proper way matters too,many passenger and operators bother not on proper use,many don't always hook the clips on the jacket

Traveling by boat in the night is very dangerous. Aside poor visibility, the chance of getting rescued if anything happens is very slim

Boat moving by 8pm In this country is out of it. Are there street light in the waterways that make visibility so clear to the boat operators or what? Day time rescue is so hard not to talk about night time.

Mehn, this life is nothing o . The funniest thing is, I still spoke with one of the victims some weeks ago. May we not embark on a journey we won't return o.

So bad, lost a friend to this unfortunate incident. May God grant her rest. Good people just dey die anyhow... And you guys should not mind what the government is saying oooo. It took rescue team 3 good hours to get to the point where the mishap occured.... Rubbish country!!!

Well if you have followed Lagos waterway accidents well you will notice it always happens past 8 pm when it's dark and the culprit is usually rogue runaway logs on the waterway which boat drivers can't see at night ...A regular sonar fish finder with sound alarm is less than 40 USD and can suffice if it's mounted on the bow of the passenger boats .
