The performance was perfect
Until I used to pump water but the tank was faulty so it affected the gen

They are both good.but I normally recommend Firman because it's easier to access its accessories.(It's accessories are mostly made for Thermocool generators only)

Pls, recommend 2.5kva sumec firman.

I have only changed the oil a few times.. And one litres of fuel last me for at least 2 hours.. Na 1/1.1kw.

Don't ask for the price, I don forget.. search online yourself

Thermocool is an amazing product but the price range can be out of it. I called and asked their store yesterday for 1.2KVA generator and the lady said N70,200. Other reasonably good products don't exceed 50k. That 20k gap is way too much. 70k can buy 2.5kva for Firman or other products.

Bought it around 60 something then.. Believe me, though it might seems expensive but the price is worth it...

This Tec junior make sense but very expensive.
I'm using it now and the fuel economy is good, I have reduced the firing power to my load demand n It consumes 2litre for 6hrs ( 7pm -10pm for 2 days)...

just TV (77W), 1 ceiling fan (80W) and 40W bulb..and charge phones.

which oil do you use in your generator? I was advised not to use measurements oil. but sealed oil of 1200. it's particularly not viable as I would need to change oil every now and then.

is it that bad to use measurements oil?

If you must buy measured oil, purchase from Total filling stations. A large percentage of these roadside oils are just base oils, adulterated with diesel, mostly recycled and have no lubricant properties. Don't let the phone number of a generator technician be amongst the most dialled entries on your phone.

My generator always turns off when there still over 1 litre of fuel inside it. the gen is less than 6 months old and it has been like this since I bought it.

I called a technician, he changed the piston and ring but I still have the same problem. I've used 6litres of Oil in space of 1month.

the Gen goes off cos oil level is too low and when this happens your rings and piston might be guilty. does the Gen smoke at all especially when you put it on?

Pls house where is the SPEED CONTROL in a 1.8 kva generator because Gens seems too loud

I'll choose tec over firman anyday a 2.0kva tec gen is as powerful as a 3.0kva firman gen or even more powerful
