I could never bring myself to dislike SR given their penchant for unmasking slease in government from day one. I will always be grateful to Sowore, regardless of our different political ideologies, for the marvelous works he's done in trying to entrench probity and transparency in government.

That said, that I support them doesnt mean I'd swallow any claims they make irrespective of how they make it. You don't make such serious allegation without backing same up with hard evidence, even though we know our legislators and ministers are super corrupt. It makes mockery of the reportage you once were known for.

The essences of giving this slots to Senators and House of Rep members is actually not for them to collect the money and consume. Senators and House of Rep members represent all the constituencies that make up Nigeria. So giving them slots for their constituencies is Federal Government way of ensuring that nobody will say that a part of Nigeria did not benefit from the program. The Senators and House of Rep members in turn are to take their slots back to their constituencies and identify verified voters who belong to the constituencies who should benefit. That's how I see it.

Those ones too will now give another slots to their family members; supporters, pastors, Imams and some sycophants loyal to them.
