Do a hard restart i.e hold your power down for about 10-15secs. Also, recalibrate your battery. This worked for me

Thanks alot brother, device has stopped overheating but Android system is consuming 45% of battery

I proceeded to install and since then my Note 9s has been very hot and andriod system is consuming over 49% of battery.
Have uninstalled almost all my app hoping there's a bug I mistakenly installed. Lol

Someone advised I reinstall MIUI v11.0.9.0 update or format the device but I'm sincerely at cross road here.

That phone must be flashed. Nothing will work. It will become so bad that it won't switch on again

The battery is dropping so fast, very very fast, what could be the problem? I charged fully by 6 pm, now it's 13%...

Pls ve been trying to update to 11.0.9.0 since morning o. it's not even downloading at all..
Left it for like an hour it still didn't move a percent .
Had to stop it.
Pls what's d way out?

Download IDM+ Pro, a Google search will get you the app. When you are ready to download manually let us know. MIUI 12 is on the way, updates you are skipping might be a roadblock to MIUI 12. Choose wisely.

Please i need your help guys have always been a fan of samsung used the samsung a30 for about a year and it was finally taken by it's real owner have taken a liking for the redmi note 9s but i cant see it on slot website i am only seeing the note 9 4gb & 128gb at 83k i heard it has a mediatek processor and mediatek reminds me of transsion device which i have vowed never to go back to so i would like to know if the note 9s is available in delta state and where i can get it and its current price

You can use this IDM+, I can vouch for it that it is good for downloading.

Check the thread store, contact Aezenkwu or Assumpta they should have and are in Onitsha so the proximity is close.

But icon is showing full na. Anyway, change your theme, its the culprit. You might need to reboot too if it doesn't change after changing your theme.
