Well, it works most of the time grin , Its usually easy for me to pass the gates, I got a really sick ride, sometime I even borrow my uncle's Fed plate number if he is out of town and put on my car. The challenge is usually the Secretary. In my case , na supply contract I dey search at that time. But I ALWAYS FIND one or two job seekers in such places

Once this people know it will be hard to collect money from you , they will scope you till Jesus come.
Yea. They are not reducing 1kobo from it. It's either 3m or nothing. But once paid. Na ahead ahead

You see, to get some of these FG jobs here, you need a little luck and grace, and constantly having sublime faith in your creator is a must. In 2016, I applied for the FCSC job that was advertised in some of the National Dailies. I was shortlisted for the interview. Three of us were shortlisted under the Ministry of Power and Works for that region. After the interview day, I ran into somebody who told me he knows the Commissioner who interviewed us. He gave me the Commissioner's number. I Called him to inform him that I was one of the three persons he had earlier interviewed for that particular job position. He told me that only one person will be taken, of the three of us. I kept calling him in the evening as I was told that, that was the only time he receives calls from people he wasn't too familiar with. He will always pick. He will always respond to text messages but in the end, I lost out. Three months later, I applied to work in a private organization here in Abuja. I was absolved. The pay was in 6 digits. My joy knew no bounds when it happened. January last year, I came across someone who requested for my CV and credentials. He told me he was going to help me with a FG job after the 2019 General Elections. I gave him. Election was over but I didn't hear anything from him. I wasn't bothered because I was atleast receiving income from the private firm. Eleven months after(that is counting from January), that was November, he asked me to come to his house. I got to his house and received a miracle with my name attached. Appointment letter in one of the Government Agencies. For the first three minutes of the letter in my hand, it sounded unbelievable, yet it was true. The summary of the matter is "Never Give Up. Never Give In

Yes, Never Give Up, Never Give In, Never Give out(to challenges

Let me give you guys a very risky trick.

1~ Be very confident
2~Be will dressed, pls don't brandish ur file at the gate like you come to look for job( Though that's what it is)
3~ Make sure you know the name of ur target
4~ Try to work in confidently and respectfully greet security if one stops you.
5~ When questioned, answer in such a way that will seem that person( Top oga) knows about ur visit and is expecting you. Don't lie woh, just make the security come to that conclusion.
6~ You will even be directed to the office., Now how you get pass the security near the office and the Secretary is up to you

Trust me, You got nothing to loose, the worst that could happen is for them to kick you out grin

I've been to a number of offices in Abuja to meet people on scheduled private visits. NCC, TCN, Tetfund, CAC, NDIC, NNPc, NLNG etc. What is common in all those places is that they will either check your name on the visitors list or make a call to the person to confirm that he is expecting you before you are allowed entry. In NLNG, they will issue you with an id card bearing your name, picture and the floor you are going to. In some cases after scaling the security at the gate, you will go through security at the main reception hall before the one at the floor you are going to. And most of those floors have electronic doors making it impossible to entire without proper identification and authorization.
Even vendors that come around have their company id card and they know exactly where they are going to.
Unless you have an insider, there is no way to enter any top government agency not to talk of meeting the oga

NNPC Announces Top-Management Level Appointments, Redeployments

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has announced new appointments and redeployments in the National Oil Company, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen and reposition NNPC for greater efficiency, transparency and profitability in line with the Next Level Agenda of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.

Mr. Adokiye Tombomieye, the Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division (COMD), has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer (COO), Upstream while Mr. Mohammed Abdulkabir Ahmed, the Managing Director of the Nigerian Gas Marketing Company (NGMC), has been appointed the new Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, following the retirement of  Engr. Farouk Garba Sa’id,  last week.

A release by the corporation’s Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Dr. Kennie Obateru, stated that the change witnessed the redeployment of Engr. Adeyemi Adetunji, the Chief Operating Officer, Upstream, to the Ventures & Business Development Directorate as COO, a position left by Mr. Roland Onoriode Ewubare, who voluntary retired last week.

The top-level staff movement also affected Sir. Billy Okoye who has been redeployed from the NNPC Downstream Company, NNPC Retail Limited, as Managing Director, to replace Mr. Tombomieye as the Group General Manager, Crude Oil Marketing Division; while Mrs. Elizabeth Aliyuda, the General Manager, Sales and Marketing NNPC Retail Limited, takes over from Sir Okoye as Managing Director.

Similarly, Mr. Usman Farouk, Executive Director Asset Management and Technical Services at the NGMC takes over from Mr. Ahmed as Managing Director.

The release also explained that President Buhari has accepted the resignation of Mr. Roland Ewubare, who was the immediate past Chief Operating Officer, Ventures and New Business Directorate of the National Oil Company while the retirement of the immediate past Chief Operating Officer, Corporate Services, Engr. Farouk Garba Said had also received the approval of Mr. President who thanked the two former COOs for their meritorious service to the corporation.

Speaking on the development, Group Managing Director of the Corporation, Mallam Mele Kyari, said the new appointments would enable the corporation live up to the expectation of her shareholders, Nigerians, and give impetus to the ongoing restructuring within the Corporation, which, he said, was in line with the corporate vision of Transparency, Accountability & Performance Excellence (TAPE).

Just graduated? Take that back guy. I dont blame u at all, just pray u get a job soon. I served 9 years back, being on FG's payroll for 7 years now, I'm just here for FG salary gists(actual reason for the thread) not job search, ok? Just encouraging job seekers. Bn there done that.

If you make it through the security, believe me no way you can break through the secretary unless the secretary help you. Anything that brings you to the DG or whatever person heading that agency must be drop with the secretary. You wan see oga say watin happen? And it's not official something. Even Mr.11 wey give testimony get friend wey be PA to senator abi na HoR. But there's no harm in trying.

Have they finally deployed the thousands they employed late last year and early this year, to me NASDRA 3m slot is quite expensive especially because they don’t pay allowances

In this life, the Power of Grace and Favour is something that is stronger than any skill or degree u think you have
My sister was out of a job for years, moving up and down to every agency in Abuja, writing applications here and there, crying at the altar every time after church
It was a member she used to join to the junction that she told of no job and he’s a business man, coincidentally one of the places she was looking for, the person heading it is he’s friend, today my sis is in a FG job getting paid correct salary/allowances
She doesn’t know him before she came to Abuja
Like mr11 said, before you go Fast N Pray to God let the heavens open for you
Goodmorning

Early last year God did my own. I was lying down in my house one afternoon without any hope. I got a call from someone I never even expected could help me & I've never told him to help me secure a job, he demanded for my CV which i sent to his email. I even forgot about it sef and didn't even believe something will come out of it. 5 months after, he called me and said congratulations you've now gotten a permanent job. The place am talking about is a top federal agency.
So guys, never loose faith, keeping praying and speaking good things into your life everytime.
THE GOD WHO DID IT FOR ME WILL DO IT FOR YOU

Indeed the Lord who did it for you, shall do mine too Amen.

There is no perfect way of getting a job, it's only by God's grace, what works for A might not work for B, I'll implore us not to discourage anybody who's trying to make a move... I know a guy who got a job with NBAIS by leaving his state for Kaduna state where NBAIS headquarter is, i wanted to try it even before he did, but i thought it was a cliché move and didn't go, how naive of me, lol... He didn't know anyone there prior to his visit there o.... May God ease all our affairs
