This is an eyewitness account of the flooded Awesu area of Igbogbo Baiyeku, Ikorodu Lagos. Obviously the community was flooded after a light shower and the resident as put the blame on the government.

Its just a natural disaster... That area needs good drainage system that can handle huge volumes of water

They should just shut up
By election time now they will forget these issues
After the election their circle of suffering continues
It does not occur to them that government are elected to solve problems if they fail,you change them until your lives becomes better
But in Lagos these are not a reason for them to vote, the only reason is tinubu has endorsed,or this is APC candidates
Something you ve been doing for over twenty years,that is insanity

Baba, drainage dey this area, na my former hood, but na d resident mess up the whole drainage system with refuse 2 - 3 years ago, it became a very serious fight in the hood cos e get places wey d refuse dey stop, I'm glad they're reaping what they sow.

So they mean the government was the one that block the drainage wth garbage??

Jagaban has stolen the money meant for that road and drainage system and is still stealing it even as I am writing to you now because he’s still governor of lagos

No wonder alaigbo is now paradise.
