Most of the service chiefs during Jonathan’s administration were shuffled and removed and yet it continued so it’s not the military...there already different terrorist factions in the north. It is not just the boko haram we knew. Islamic fighters from across the Sahel are already keying into the war and even from across the globe.

Those are not Nigerian soldiers. My reasons are:

1. Boko Haram has been technically defeated

2. Chadian army dealt the remaining ones a deadly blow

3. Nigeria forgave them and reintegrated them

4. The few of them remaining are begging for a soft landing while shekau is trying to surrender

5. To make the surrender effective, Buratai has moved to the theatre of war and is leading the assault from the front.

All these are information shared to us in our media and I believe them all.
