Reno Omokri, former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, yesterday posted a comment on twitter questioning why the office of EFCC chairman is always occupied by a Northerner. He was reacting to the appointment of Mohammed Umar as the new boss of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in place of suspended acting chairman, Ibrahim Magu. A lot of people chipped in to discuss the issue. But one contributor who caught our eye was none other than son of veteran thespian and notable actor, Pete Edochie- Yul Edochie. Southerners (most especially Igbos) should stop disturbing us with this marginalisation bullshit biko. When Nnamdi Azikiwe was busy "forming" stupid nationalist, what was he thinking? When Prof Nwabueze drafted the Nigerian constitution and made it a unitary system, what was he thinking? When those Igbo soldiers planned and executed the first coup in Nigeria and killed those aboki people, what were they thinking? What the abokis are doing to us in this country today was the initial plan of the Igbos. But somehow, it backfired and now they wail everyday.
