Trash and balderdash.

Which igbo stopped it?? Ojukwu abi

When did Ojukwu stopped it, after they killed balewa and ahmadu Bello..

After the igbos mercilessly shot pregnant women of the north... When the igbos shot ladoke akintola and others mercilessly..

So that was when ojukwu stopped it abi.

And after the igbo coup, who became the Head of state again, an igbo man.. Ironsi

1966 was an igbo coup to bring an igbo head of state.

Take it or leave. Yeebos are evil

Was it Ironsi that killed him? Abeg I need your reply. grin grin grin
Lol thats not what I was referring to, rather as an igbo man why he should accept to assume leadership just after a group of soldiers mainly igbos just executed the political leaders of other regions sparing their own, worse he kept dragging his feet about bringing them to justice. What was he thinking soldiers from other regions would do?

Nigerians look for reasons to demonize the igbos

They say it was an igbo coup yet the people who stopped it were igbos

Funny that the people who killed igbos for the North are all regretting now

What Ojukwu saw, Gideon Orkar saw & what Kanu is seeing is clear

The Fulanis hates the South & Middle Belt

Doubt me?,
Ask Tinubu & Osinbajo

Nigeria attacked Biafra, thats what started the war

Take am jeje biko, why should someone demonize you without a cause? For instance what does "aba made" stand for? Anyways thats by the way.

If Azikiwe agreed with Awolowo to include a seccession clause in our independence constitution would we here facing these issues today? If those 1966 coup plotters did not carry out that ill-fated coup would havd there been a war?

Anyway right now there is no sense in pointing fingers, its a democracy, building bridges gives better results that attacking others.

Let me test your mental acuity on political history

Do you know who Major Ademoyega Adewale is?

Do you also know who Ganiyu Adeleke is?

How about Lt Kpera?

While you are at that tell what you know about Colonel A.C Unegbe.

Mr man who were the majors who lead the jan 1966 coup? How many of them were igbos? Of the top military/political casualties what percentage were igbos?

Quit trying to rewrite history, no one says only igbos plotted and carried out the coup or only non igbos were the casualty, but from all indications the coup was led by mainly igbos and non-igbos made up a large majority of the victims. With the situation ironsi accepted to lead the govt, yet failed to punish the coup plotters and was even promoting them with full pay while on detention withut a trial. He was simply provoking others and calling for his head basically. Im even tempted to believe he had a prior agreement with the coup plotters to spare his life and theirs once he seizes power.

Now a fulani man is in power, if fulani herdsmen go on killing spree in the east like in kaduna or benue with little or no resistance what would igbos do?

Lol why are you so emotional? You could have given a list of the major coup plotters and the victims to prove me wrong instead of calling me a yoruba man which Im very far from.

That's their stock in trade- when confronted by superior argument they resort to personal attacks.

Victor Banjo didn't fight for Biafra.
he was imprisoned in Enugu for his involvement in the January coup.
Ojukwu released him and put him in command to liberate the west and Lagos and clear it of the activities of northern troops.
he had almost succeeded before the expedition was sabotaged by the British(who wanted the crisis to continue for their own selfish interest) and some yoruba elements.
when I read here on how yorubas fought Biafrans at Ore,I just laugh because one can see from the post that that is far from the truth.
Sometimes one has to let the Yari.ba peeps swim in their bags of lies. The same Yoruba which could not afford a single officer to standby Ogundipe to claim what was rightfully his suddenly became braves and warmongers.

Please, do try and enlightened us further on Victor Banjo's role in the january coup.

May i remind you that Banjo was arrested on the 17th of january by the duo of Lt. Colonel G. T. Kurubo and Major P. A. Anwuna in the anteroom of the Inspector General of Police’ Office where he had been summoned to see Ironsi.
