Cowboys

The team ended up at His Excellency’s Guest House in Minna and told the security officers on duty that they had instructions from their zonal head to search the property.

They searched based on instructions from their zonal head and not with a search warrant! This is why and how they bungle cases!!

A company won a case against EFCC and GTBank because of this cowboy behavior. They froze its account based on instructions. The company sued GTBank and EFCC and obviously won.

That is just the simple fact. Some people in this country are untouchable, They feel they own Nigeria. angry

They don’t feel...They own Nigeria. That’s the reality. From the Dons to the Capos. These men own Nigeria.
The IBBs, Abubakars, Danbanzus, Objs, Danjumas...then the semi dons like the El Rufais, Kwankwasos, Sheriffs, Dangotes, Tinubus etc

I am not understanding again o. EFCC or DSS should help investigate that journalist. Segun Adeniyi is a former presidential spokesperson, he is no longer, but his penchant for clueless denial still follows him everywhere like a shadow, no delivery whatsoever. And will be with Garba Shehu and Femi Adesina too. The capacity to first take advantage of flimsy or reliable sources, then deny and twist, and accuse the rest of Nigeria of illiteracy by using such words as anecdote is overwhelmingly irresponsible. Now we look to Kemi Olunloyo and Fisayo Soyombo for reliable news.

Segun Adeniyi, like Reuben Abati and other overfed spokespersons of our VIPs, is a joke.
Telling too many lies to make himself relevant.

A guest house is where you keep your visitors that intend to sleep over because you don't allow outsiders sleep in your house. There they have the free will to do whatever they like, if you know what I mean grin

Abubakar and Theophilus are two very intelligent Nigerian's. They understand actually, that the optics of the report by Adeniyi is damaging to their credentials. Though powerful and influential and not saints either, they understand that with the report, they will be considered as the Crucifier of anti corruption in Nigeria. They see Adeniyi's report as an accusation on their integrity... and that is why they're quick to deny or to clarify. However, they fall short. Now we know of Abubakar Guest Villa in Minna, we never knew and may never know the thousands scattered all over the country, and we also know of Danjuma having perhaps if not more private jets, the capacity to have then than some countries. Danjuma and Abubakar and Ganduje and the Bullion Van masters are the untouchables, Not Jonathan and his family, a very corrupt one too however, thanks to Magu. I think selectively fighting corruption is better than nothing at all, at least, it keeps some people on their feet and keep them responsible and not so reckless. Now, that which Buhari is known for is dishonored and rubbished by recent events especially the tragedy of Magu. The EFCC/DSS more than ever before is seen as the machinery of the occupants of Aso Rock to harass those who disagree with the administration. Abubakar hasn't, Danjuma hasn't... That is the error or undoing of Magu. He should have continued harassing the former first Lady and the unrepentant oppositions only...but never truly fought corruption.

But I am not understanding other things though. EFCC or DSS should help investigate this journalist.
I understand your pains bro but where it hurt me most is that we the poor masses are so docile and afraid to die or else, tell me, is all this drama not enough to cause bloody revolution? this country is cursed

‘Wise’ men exist in Nigeria. These group of people keep the order and also are responsible for upsetting that order and whatever tranquility that is present to either make one or two statements or to distract the gullible populace from any trending issue capable of embarrassing their members and the structure that they created.

Name it, there hands are heavily soiled and dipped in every evil and afflictions stunting Nigeria...boko haram, banditry, elections and politics, oil blocks, importations, real estates especially in Abuja, which region gets what etc

Imagine the explanation. Houses in Tunga were numbered haphazardly!! I bet they were built and arranged haphazardly as well...but the EFCC or ‘Magu boy’s’ GPS device despite such disorganisation took them exactly to the guest house belonging to Abdulsalami Abubakar!...If there weren’t meant to be at Abubakar’s guest house, where were they meant to be?

There should be some good movie about power plays in Nigeria. I’m just imagining how scared Magu might’ve felt after he picked the silver bearded man’s call asking him to tell his puppies to leave his premises or...

I don’t want to comment on TY. These men are gods. Anyone thinking Nigeria will get better with them around is just delusional...sadly, when they are gone, another set of Capos will take their places.
honestly bro, I believe this country is cursed otherwise, is this things happening in this country not enough to cause bloody revolution? honestly we are done for because I don't see a messaiah in 100 years time

No sir. The error was in not putting you in jail.
that can never happen. This generals know demselves. So anyone trying to pitch dem against each other will just b doing it in his or her mind. I use to laugh wen people say buhari will put obasanjo in prison blablabla... Even he himself knows he cant try it. If Abacha was still alive, no single kobo would av been taken from d so called loot and he would b parading himself without any harassment. So if dem give u work and busybody push u go near dose generals, ure on your own cos buhari will deny u straight up

And who would dare produce such a movie? Even the movie won't be allowed into the market if produced. I can recollect a film production about Boko Haram, it was buried b4 you can say "ja...".

Who would even join the cast sef, all those money worshippers called actors and actresses of Nollywood? grin

The country is far gone; gone to the dogs...only a well defined revolution can revive it...but then 'divide and rule' is there to always thwart it. angry

Adeniyi fall my hand o. Which one is anecdote? He is a senior journalist that is held in high repute. If he can't stand by his story, then we're doomed. Has he joined the authors of tales by moonlight?

Re: Abdulsalami: EFCC Went To My Guest House In Error by kizwal: 7:01am On Jul 10, 2020
These retired Generals and the Politicians have looted Nigeria massively. You see why no country respects us again. We even have no business with the level of poverty and insecurity in the system,it is still traceable to these two groups. Unfortunately we the masses are like pawns. A revolution?...quit the thought because we are not just ready.

Oga abeg we are not babies. There was no error anywhere. Just confess that YOU WERE TACTICALLY SILENCED by this evil regime. All of you that had BIG VOICE of activism during GEJ time, this evil regime don burst all una loudspeaker, una no fit talk again. Even the media has been suppressed. Where are the Nigerians that protested massively under GEJ for petrol price increase? Voices of dissent have been tactically suppressed. This regime is pure evil sad
