Chaka is confusing for me but they offer Nigerian stocks too (unlike bamboo that focuses just on US market).
Not sure about trading 212. Never used it

I happened to come across this thread after following the treasury bill thread judiciously and investing in same.
Unfortunately things have gone south with the treasury bills rates and I am looking at dabbling into other investments
I have downloaded the Trove app based on some of the recommendations here and I seem to be comfortable with it. Having been giving the clearance too start investing by the trove team, I will like to seek some of your opinions
My immediate outlook is to invest in long term US stocks that pays good dividends. the idea is to buy the stocks in piecemeal and grow them over the years. Being new to all this I will like to pick your brains which stocks you all will recommend to buy. I will be more interested in the quarterly?/yearly dividends such stock will return

let me be a little clearer with my proposal;
say you have an initial outlay of 500K- 1M naira to invest in US stocks, Amazon alone with a going rate of $3,200 will not cut it as it is way over the budgeted investment
We will get there someday. but for now looking at starting small to grow big

On the scale of the investments, the good thing is that the investment platforms today support fractional shares so you can divide whatever amount you have between the shares you want to buy. All you have to do is put in the amount and the exact percentage of a share will be calculated.

Looks like I got in late, but I only have a small position In it. If they win a $6billion contract, that will be 4 X their market cap, I can't even imagine what that would do to the stock price!
