The entire Anambra state doesn't have firetrucks. They had to go and beg Delta state to borrow them firetrucks to quench Onitsha market fire.

All these ceremony because of TWO trucks shows how low or values have become. Although it's commendable that FG donated these trucks to them, I can't just wrap my head around the fact that they had to organise a ceremony for TWO trucks, they should cover their face in shame

Not that these kind of purchases don't occur but we lack maintenance attitude...... public offices tends to leave their equipments and properties to waste without maintenance..... private organizations don't do so.

This is more of a human factor. A friend normally tell people that even if Nigeria builds rail tracks/ train and infrastructure, Nigeria will still be under developed becos the minds of the people are still very much barbaric, savage and wicked.

Please, Nigerians tell me what type of a country is that. A federal government that makes Billions in oil revenue will buy two fire fighting trucks for whole state and dignitaries will gather to celebrate and the whole country (including Nairalanders) will be celebrating. WHAT A SHAME!
Is Nigeria in this world? A shameless people, where only on man will embezzle 39 billion and the whole country will be jubilation that the federal government bought two fighting trucks. The person who brought this news to Nairaland should be ashamed. SHAME
