Hmm.
Not surprised.
VAR has been guilty of committing errors right from its inception. The reason is simple. As long as it is put under the control of humans, the erroneous nature of human is reflected in the decisions of VAR.
In other words, subjectivity rather than absolute objectivity remains.

That's why Goal line Tech is 100% accurate. Absolute objectivity.
I'm one of those who believe VAR was a mistake. If it wasn't gonna eradicate errors completely, the game should have been left intact. Errors and mistakes are part of the things that makes the game buzz. Talking Points.
Remember, Maradona's hand of God. One of the Most celebrated goals in WC.
VAR just makes the game highly mechanized. Yet, favoritism and swindles exists. Madrid and LiVARpool benefitted a lot. Barça are suffering from its decisions.

Goal Line Technology isn't 100%... It recorded it first error @ Norwich 'vs Southampton or Aston Villa vs Sheffield match.. Either of those two matches I posted, which was played immediately after covid-19 break..

Leave them jare!
Let them come and carry their penalty sef. Reduce our goals to 2.
We are ok with the 3 points and the fact that even Chelsea fans confess that #ManUtd is on fire!
#GGMU
Aston Villa were playing well until the first controversial goal. That alone killed their moral.

VAR was introduced to the game of football by gamblers to make good fortune.
If you know........you must be a well doer!

Apart from the yesterday controversial penalty awarded to Manchester United, which other one can you point to?

Apart from the penalty decision ? so easy to ask that ...that single decision tilted the balance of the game....Villa were evidently the more likely team to score before that decision and it seemed to break their spirit ..

At least a yellow card should have been given to Fenandez for almost breaking konsa's leg .instead a penalty ...in my view that is the worst epl decision this whole season

I still don't understand why the e'll won't let the center referees watch car replay themselves and then make then decide afterwards like other leagues do.

That penalty awarded to Man U. yesterday against Aston Villa wasn't deserved. I had expected VAR to do its job well but I was disappointed.

Agbero FC fans should keep their mouth shut, United is coming back to destroy and bury them 6 foot below in the FA cup.
If you are afraid of VAR then avoid fouling us in the 18yard box. We hv the best frontline in England now and we don't show mercy to anyone., so agbero club should better deal with it.

Man United have been awarded penalty thirteen times this season, more than any club in the history of premiership.

Premier League Clubs Penalty this season

Manchester United = 13

Liverpool + Arsenal + Tottenham Hotspur = 12
False. Check Crystal Palace in 2004/5 and Leicester City in 2015/16.

Nonsense, do you think the english fa give a dam? Its what they have been doing long before now. Do you think the would have given a penalty if it was in favor of aston villa? Or do you thing if spurs were to be man u they would have not given that penalty?. Note this: in english premiership a ref can help you win a match/ matches and can also help you lose it.. Is it not in the english premiership match a ref also celebrated a goal against a team in the match he was officiating? Note refs also help fix matches..
Re: Premier League Admits Errors In VAR Penalty Decisions by Roushy(m): 6:43am On Jul 11, 2020
The only reason why that decision is raising concern is because it resulted to a penalty. If it was outside the box, it would have been a free kick for man utd. The villa player went for a foul on Bruno.

I say scrap the damn VAR.
Football is a human game and should be allowed to stay like that with minimal non intrusive technology unlike VAR, otherwise we are heading to a future of robotic referees or invisible referees that are programmed to work independently.
Before you know it, we will be having an entire football team completely made up of robots competing against human football teams or other robot teams.

And funny manu was going to win that match because they are on fire. But because they played 27 minutes without goal, the referee/FA were agitated.

They quickly awarded penalty to break aston villa spirit, and it worked. After the penalty, aston villa gave up.

As a neutral, I was enjoying the game. I was telling a friend of mine Aston villa is going show manu pepper not knowing the referee was sentimental

Exactly what happened. I was pissed off by halftime and just left the match for shameless Man U fans to continue watching.
