You may still be worldly. You have to give up those worldliness . You need to stop filling your minds with negative news and filth you are constantly bombarded with by the world, the internet, media, movies, radio etc. Read your Bible more and listen to the world less.

What are you still looking for in the world? Stop focusing on the negativity and filth... they are deliberate.
The word of GOD is very sufficient. Read/listen it continously, believe in it and watch yourself grow with the help of GOD.
You won't believe what GOD will reveal to you if you totally depend on HIM and obey HIS Words.

Stop looking back.

have you ever read about Jeremiah, Moses, Elisha?
Jeremiah was a prophet from his youth yet no man's story is as depressing as His.

Depression is not sin...its not worldly. It is just the mind's way of processing information presented it a different way.

I submit to you that many of the prophets of old were likely depressed minds as most could not, it seems find joy,and peace in the way that is the world around them, and that aided them, not hinder them completely in finding and submitting to God as they did.
