Do you know rooting grants you full control over your Android device (not that I'm asking you to). I can screen record besides screenshot. I can literally change the colour of my screen to suit my eyesight. I can also customize my font. I can also block unused apps from running in the background thereby getting the best from my battery life just to mention a few. Moreover, I can set the audio output of my phone through root access. Observe the pictures below.

I can do all these without rooting my phone. The only reason I'll ever root a phone is perhaps to enhance my gaming experience. Aside that, rooting is outdated.

You can't use root apps to root Android 6 upward. Either you use a PC or flash a zip file specifically SuperSU or more preferably magisk. I speak as a first-hand witness

Good one bros, u r a mobile tech guru, but honestly and truthfully, this zte model is better than the infinix and tecno of 2020. Zte is a world standard brand with one of the best technologies, this places it way ahead of transsion phones, if you choose to upgrade, it should not be tecno or infinix (don't fall down), you can remain with zte or any other standard brand.

You called me a tech-guru. Didn't you? What sane tech-guru would go for subpar phones like Techno and infinix? Believe me, those phones are the least I would consider not after what my Tecno f1 did to me. Thanks by the way for the compliment. It means a lot.

the only thing I haven't flashed is a custom Rom since tecno and its brothers have extremely poor software support compared to xiaomi and Sammy. zte too has decent custom ROMs. you should try and see if you can get one fore your phone.

my tecno lb7 is impossible to flash without it crashing. I got frustrated and stopped. every time I try to root, it bricks and then I have to us SP flash to flash the default ROM back on the phone.
