I RECENTLY INSTALLED LUBUNTU 18.04 AND IT'S MY FIRST TIME INSTALLING A LINUX BASED OS SO I NEED SOME HELP BECAUSE I FEEL I MADE A MISTAKE SOMEWHERE:
1. WHEN I REBOOT MY LAPTOP IT SHOWS A BOOTLOADER AND BOOTS DIRECTLY TO LUBUNTU I LATER FOUND OUT THAT I WILL USE THE ARROW KEYS TO MOVE DOWN TO MY WINDOWS 10 OS TO BOOT IT.
YES I DUAL BOOT WINDOWS 10 AND LUBUNTU SO I WANT TO KNOW IF THIS IS NORMAL OR I MADE A MISTAKE AND HOW CAN I GO BACK TO MY BOOTLOADER OR BOOT WINDOWS 10 FIRST INSTEAD OF LUBUNTU

Please I just installed Kali linux 2020.2 and it installed without issue, but I found out that when I tried to run some command in the terminal it's giving me some error like ,host not found,no directory,I tried to access root folder,it says access denied,I don't know is there something am not doing Right

You have overwitten the original boot loader and using Grub bootloader, I do the same too, it is normal, however depending on your BIOS Settings, you can change the bootloader, if it is a modern laptop and yours allow it, but i my opinion just leave it be.

Linux is amazing been running it for 6 years plus and use it almost as my main computer, so many things I can do from linux, but luckily Windows has Linux Subsystem so you might not need to leave Windows Land.

I would have agree with you 2 years back, since i started using Linux(manjero kde plasma ) , I can tell you it's a whole world entirely especially if you are a developer. There are windows equivalent application, and even better than that of windows. Abeg who get login for steam I wan play game small....

I normally use KDE, Ubuntu and alot of distros, I usually like all those minimal ui like i3 or awesomeWM.

use to have this problem before when I was using hp pro book, tried everything but couldn't solve it. My advice though switch to Windows.

Almost the same on Windows except there are alternatives like GIMP instead of Photoshop, anything can be installed, but I mostly use developer tools and cli so it depends on what the user wants to do with the laptop and why he wants linux.
