As much as I feel very sorry for your loss. But do you realise that this thing you just did can turn this case against you? That guy can sue you for defamation and you will be on the defensive and even paying him money for this.

There are better ways of handling such matter. Not paying for ads on nairaland and commuting a crime in its own.

Nairaland mods should be carefull about this. This is not professional at all and can also make themselves liable.
You are not just TheMan3, you are the third mad man... idiot... Do you know how it hurts to be scammed.
Day before yesterday, I was scammed of the last cash I borrowed to invest into a business. Do you know how I am feeling even till this moment?
I have vowed to continue tracking the madman and I won't hesitate to defame him anywhere because he is who he is... A scammer.
Stop saying rubbish please because social media gave you a voice.

Mr. Is the accused related to you? If yes kindly tell him to do the needful and if not, the man that brought his case is entitled to state his greviances...

He complained he was scammed and yet you are still maintaining he should visit EFCC,. If He had visited EFCC how would people here learnt about this case... making a case at EFCC is not bad while stating same here is nether except if there is something you knew about the case that others might not know...

TheMan3:
point of correction I am not defending criminals neither am I in support of any criminality.

The first thing he should do in that scenario is to report the case with EFCC. That way the person cannot sue him as a first accuser. As it is right now he is open for a serious law suit. And he can be in deep shit.

He even paid for an advertisement

Why will you call me an accomplice? Do you know me? Have we had any dealing before? Is this how you go about defaming people and laying accusations Well I will just assume it's your emotions talking.

Well as I said I am sorry for your loss. Go and do the right thing. Go to EFCC with your evidence. With his phone number they can fish him out where ever he is..

The law is the law. This man can sue you and you will be paying him millions join the money allegedly stolen from you .
You are an idiot. What law are you quoting/talking about?

Oga shut up...have you been to the Efcc's office before? i doubt, cause you are certainly not sounding like one who has been there. Efcc will only further frustrate the ops by referring him to the police which in the long run will amount to nothing, the best the op can do is exactly what he is currently doing. Theman3 or whatever you called yourself i know you are a bloody scammer, you might even me the actually scammer you are simply trying to protect your turf which is Nairaland.

Nairaland is full with criminals. I have been scammed thrice on nairaland. No matter how the person's profile looks like he's Christian, run away for your life. Some even add pastor to their names and have a good prayer point as their signature. The are just fraudsters trying to lure you by making you feel that they are pastors or serious Christians. But I still blame you, why will you buy bitcoin from someone you don't know instead of a company. Company's price could be higher but it doesn't matter as long as you get your coin

The same guy scammed me too of $30 USD, I even created a Thread here on Nairaland

Fam we need to mess this guy life up

What name did he give you when you were having whatsapp convo with him

And did he slip up by giving you a bank account details

There is a way to freeze bank account that is receiving fradulent money in all the time

If we dont stop this guy, he will grow more in confidence
