2000W is 2.5KVA, is this capacity not working for you? This is enough for only your freezer...and tv
Just wanted to know before using it in order not to overload the generator. thank you very much sir, may God bless you richly in Jesus' name.

what could make a generator vibrates even without putting any load.

Did you alter the voltage of your generator....it does that when the voltage is too low.

Greetings, Please I need help from the gurus in the house, I have been using my Luthian 3900 since 2017. Few days ago, it suddenly stopped giving out voltage, I tried replacing the AVR but it didn't solve my problem. Could it be an issue with the coil?

Good day all,

Pls I wish to buy Gen that could power ac of 1hp and my fridge as well as television and other minor electronics.

And what brand?

the generator is not fake only that it might be fake branding elepaq. it's perform pretty well with power. even my neighbours fireman they bring in technician almost every day to repair. I haven't had one repair.

OK let assume it's fake. how come it charges my 30,000 power bank really fast which other other Generator like Honda, themecool, fireman take longer to charged?

there is no oil on the ground or shortage really fast.

but there are oil at the air filter and at the top of the curbrator area.

it was very high initially and zapping fuel with a loud noise until someone help me to low it. the noise is normal and consumption rate is normal. I use full tank for 12 -15 hours if I should calculate all the on time together. it last longer if I don't put on fridge.

that's exactly how it look like and the military model
you ask of na fake dey tell you now you dey argue why did you ask in the first place

Too many fakes.....any firman generator you are not buying from the main distributor in Ikeja can be anything.....and trust me original Firman Gen is really pricey.

i low the generator to the lowest. not sure if it has anything to do with voltage.

It does.....when I was trying to maximize my fuel usage, I altered the voltage of my gen and it started vibrating.....if you increase the voltage you will see that vibration will stop, sound will increase as well.....

that thing has nothing to do with voltage but load capacity. because the fuel last long without fridge on.

beside does it the vibration has any effect? if continue to use like that?

My Generator vibrates whether there's load or not when I reduce the voltage too much....it becomes worse once I add load.....low rpm can make your gen vibrate.....if you doubt me try it on another Gen.....

I need some help here.

I have an Elemax 6.5kva Gen I have been using since 2016 but recently our transformer broke down and I was forced to buy Sumec Fireman 3000e2 to save fuel since the Elemax was gulping like 2.5 litres every 1 hour. It is a 2.5kva Gen and I noticed it consumes like 1 litre of fuel per hour. The load on the Gen is usually around 1kva whenever I use it.

I want to know if there is anything I can do to improve the fuel efficiency of this Sumec since I purely bought it to save money on fuel.

Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Prof, how much can get an half engine for my 2.2kva gen

17k now..for non-firman
Re: Professor On Any Type Of Generator. by dataking: 7:42am On Jul 16, 2020
I got a quote of 52k for the half engine of the generator.
Just for the half engine purchase alone. He claimed that the 17k-20k type are inferior and that he will be buying from a new generator that will be decoupled.
Pic of the Gen attached

Bros it is it too damn much.....it should be between 30 to 35k for 2.5KVA Engine....no let person use your head, you can go to oyingo yourself with a Generator mech that knows a good engine.....

Tech is expensive but the best Generator I have bought of recent.....the fuel economy is the one wey dey off me.....it is super good.....I don talk about am tire for here.....

If you know you don't need power for heavy appliances Bros buy a small Tec generator, I am talking of the Tech Junior size.....the fuel economy is mad....I use 1.5litres for almost 4hrs though at half generating capacity....you can't be wrong with Tec gen....I can assure you that one

So I thought Boss. Can I get the half engine myself and have him fix it when I buy. Are there things to look out for.

If you check in the last 5 pages of this thread, you will find where somebody was trying to get half engine and I pointed them to Oyingbo market, that's where all the generator importers have their warehouses and that's where most of the shop sellers buy from....my advise will be to get another mechanic you can trust, and go to Oyingbo with him to pick the half engine....describe to the dealer the capacity of your generator and tell him you want an original engine.....they will show you grade by grade and tell you the best one to take, might be 10k or so higher than the less quality one but it won't be up to 52k.....the last guy bought around twenty sth k for thesame engine capacity as yours....

Fixed ooo & enjoying it . I remembered the mechanic we used in my former office then at Gbagada, dude is really good and reliable, he went to get it .
The prices varies , I got this for #22,000
There is one of 15,000

Here is the guy I was talking about in my previous post....he too bought half engine.

It is so painful, to see some unprofessional engineers using fake spare parts to work people's generator, not knowing the effects and damages it may cause, I will advise you to contact them on their Facebook page SUMEC FIRMAN Nigeria you will get any information you may need about your generator and genuine SUMEC FIRMAM spare parts, I can also help on it if you want, and I will send a flyer indicating almost all you need to know
