The october date too is still very much possible coz 2018 SSC/DSSC form came out on Oct 19, A day after my Nysc POP... So it shouldn't sound strange

I want to believe a Graduate Membership Certificate of Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) will be Accepted since Local man never get 4 years post-graduation field experience to request for Higher membership Cadre

Plus I learnt this Last year DSSC guys were pardoned as per their Professional Membership Certificate, even those wey No sabi Powerful Connect

Professional certification is not compulsory applying for DSSC as long as your course isn't in any of the medical field. The main issue is that your course ought to have a recognised registration body and must be approved as at when you where studying the course.
If you can get them(Professional Certification) please do as it might give you an edge over other applicants but it's not compulsory till you enter.

Besides not all the courses listed have membership or professional certifications... my course for example International relations is listed under intelligence but doesn’t have a membership or professional certification ...

Same here and also under military police but decided to go for MP cause intelligence are requesting for some professionals certification which i don't have so to be on the safe side, going for MP

Courses under Intelligence and S&T hardly have any recognised Membership body or Certification in Nigeria that's why they kuku didn't mention anything about getting certification for those courses.
According to army advert its compulsory to have certification for Aviation Unit, Education Corp, Finance but in reality the board overlooks it.
I know people that scaled through with only BSC/HND, infact personally, I don't know anyone with certification that scaled through (them go plenty o, but I never see).

NB
I have all manner of certifications, in my field, so if any body can get one they should get it, make e no come be say tomorrow person go talk say Ugo tell them make them forget about am.
