The bottom line is it is the ibos who opened the can of worms and derailed our progress our nation. if you understand how the country works you will understand all the problems of Nigeria stem from decree 34. The distrust of the ibos stem from decree 34, because people saw what they did when they held power briefly, going to abuja for allocation stems from decree 34, random creation of states stems from decree 34. That the SS have the Oil but they have to go to Abuja for allocation comes from decree 34, that VAT is collected in SW and shared in the North is from decree 34. That our good schools like OAU and Nsuka are controlled by Abuja is a result of decree 34. that we have resources but have no incentive to develop them because the proceeds will go to the center for sharing is a result of decree 34. etc etc. That the North have no incentive to develeop themselves is a result of decree 34....... Decree 34 opened the floodgates, unleashed the genie that assured the slow but inevitable destruction of Nigeria.

The ibos seized power and thought they would rule forever in their image. it is the same law they created that has turned round to bite them and the rest of us in the ass. The lesson here is a good law is a law that works when you are in power and when you are out of power. The Northerners took power and realised this decree 34 the ibos created works for them so why change it ...and that was the end of the groundnut pyramids and Nigeria's development. Now thanks to the ibos, no matter what the south may want, due to their numerical advantage of the North, we cannot change a system that was created by the ibos.

very convenient now to say Ibos didnt support him. Was there a protest by the ibos against it or any record you can point to to show the ibo unions were against it. like i said rather convenient, in the same way as dont expect anybody to believe that Ibos are not in support of Biafra and Ipob. When you are against something you come out against it so it on record.

Right now, all ibos are paying and will continue to pay the price for the actions of their forebearers which they refused to condemn at the appropriate time.

Nonetheless, whether or not he had Ibo support as you claim, i still havent seen you acknowledge that decree 34 was probably the most significant derailment to the progress of Nigeria and everything negative that has followed is a result of the ball set in motion by decree 34....you seem to just gloss it aside.
